The rooms itself are new, cozy and quite spacious. However, they are very strict on the persons staying in the rooms. I understand that the hotel is smaller compare to high rise hotels, thus they can monitor all the people coming in and out. So they charge 300 per person exceeding the limit in the specific room. By the way, we booked two deluxe 1 bedroom, in their Facebook ad it says up to two persons maximum of four can stay per room. We thought 4 person can stay, but only two were allowed so we have to pay the two extra heads. We understand but they could have made a disclaimer about the extra person charge. Anyway, they advised to declare the extra people staying overnight (guests are allowed to stay up to 10PM only, beyond that applicable charges are imposed). So I declared 4 extra persons (in total, we were 8 adults, plus 2 kids below 7 yrs old). Upon check-out, they said there were 11 of us based on management's review of the CCTVs. So I contested it and requested to show us the CCTV records. The front desk staff showed the still shots of us. I reviewed and found out that I was counted twice, while my brother was counted thrice! (due to the change of outfit, they thought we were another persons) while they failed to capture my sister-in-law, so I said there was no picture of my sister in law and they should have added her to their count. In conclusion, the four extra people I originally declared were the only ones should be paid extra. They could have trusted me in the first place, which is kind of disappointing for me. In the end, I suggested they upgrade their CCTV to a more HD quality if they will continue doing the monitoring of guests. Or, they could have stamped and marked and listed and have the guests signed a form for a more accurate count. So that's our experience. We may not consider booking in Artemis in the near future, but if their service improves, who knows.
