Everything is okay except the noise from the temple nearby is quite loud with the room.. almost 12pm still loud.. not comfortable because there is a cancer patient in the room who needs rest for treatment tomorrow morning.. the position of the room this time is not suitable.. avoid room 303 on Wednesdays if you need a quiet room.

I extended my stay at Grand FC because it's such a great hotel. I've moved hotels several times in Penang, and Grand FC is the best for budget hotels. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom are clean, and the furnishings are modern. The location is great, within walking distance to several shopping centers. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel with excellent service and room quality, choose this hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful, taking the initiative to help even without us asking. I really appreciate their attitude. The hotel room design is modern. The hotel looks small from the lobby, but the room is super comfortable and very clean. The Wi-Fi is strong, stable, the elevator is spacious and functions well, the water is strong and the water heater in the bathroom works well, and the hot and cold water dispenser is free for you to take as much as you want outside the room. If I return to Penang, I will book this hotel again. It's close to Mydin, 7-Eleven, several Muslim-friendly restaurants, and souvenir shopping centers. Thank you, Grand FC, for an amazing hotel. Clean hotel, close to places to eat for breakfast, comfortable, easy & safe parking

Clean and convenient, though the bed could be better. Overall, the place was clean and well-maintained. The mattress and pillows weren't the most comfortable for me, but the location is excellent with many shops and eateries nearby. I appreciated the parking options and the provided amenities (Wi-Fi, coffee, and toiletries). Great for those who want everything within walking distance!

Satisfactory stay with a great location. The cleanliness of the property was satisfactory. While the mattress was a bit uncomfortable for me and the pillows were quite low (I ended up using my own), the location made up for it. The best part is the convenience—there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Ample parking is available, both covered and uncovered. Basic amenities like Wi-Fi, coffee, towels, and soap were also provided.

The hotel only provides 1 keycard, so if you need to leave someone in the room with lights on, ask the receptionists and they will give you an electricity card. Those who are non Malaysian resident need to consider on how to pay the hotel room tax which is RM10/night as it is payable ONLY by cards, no cash.

Everything good, but room abit small.

The location is very good, because the hotel is near from anywhere. It is located at the central of Penang. Two minutes walk to Mydin, three minutes walk to cendol, everything was good. Recommended for budget hotel and the single bed room is also nice.
