First impression was not good either. When checking in, the female staff answered in a very unfriendly tone while on the phone, then just told me to go to the other end without any greeting. As a guest, that was quite rude.
Going to the male staff, he was also using the phone while serving me. He just asked for my passport without any smile or friendly service. When I asked if he could help me lift my bag from the Grab trunk, his answer was just “no bell boy.” No apology, no alternative solution, nothing.
Entering the room was disappointing. The musty smell from the carpet was so strong that it felt uncomfortable. The carpet was full of dirt and the bathroom sink was mossy. The cleanliness was really unsatisfactory and far from expectations.
Honestly, the hotel pictures look convincing, but the reality is very different. Basic hospitality and cleanliness are not up to standard. I hope the management takes this matter seriously, because this experience was really unpleasant.
But when I wanted to check out, the staff at the reception were nice and smiled, at least if they couldn't provide good accommodation, they gave good service.
