Basic requirements were met except for air conditioning (only a fan). Very steep stairs to reach the room. Bathroom so small it was necessary to spread my legs to use the toilet. Best feature the location, very central

The smallest room I have ever been in. You couldn’t walk around the bottom of the bed window opened a fraction To a brick wall. 2 tea bags and 2 satchets of dried milk. It was disgusting bed was uncomfortable. A hot night small cheap and Nast fan provided that made an awful noise all night. We felt ripped off

Nice area and easy check in + helpful staff, however the property itself was not in good condition, especially the bathroom. The area was convenient, but too expensive for the quality.

Central hotel off Bond Street. Ideal for a reasonably priced stay bang in the centre of London. It is not far from Soho and about a 10 minute walk. The room I was in was a bit dated but perfectly clean, functional and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and will return on my next work trip.

Excellent location, staff and service. Quiet. We had a quad for four persons. The hotel is very close to historic sites and the line. There is no lift as stated in the listing, however the stairs were fine.

Staff were great - room for fine clean and tidy only downside was the day/night blinds. They didn’t suit the room so I didn’t get a good nights sleep as the room was lit up most of the time .

The Mermaid Suites Hotel is in a very central and convenient area, good for shopping and dining, and close to Bond St Station. The room we had was small, but the bed was comfortable. It was a bit shabby and dated, but if all you want is bed for the night at a very good price, it’s a good hotel.

Good service & quick to check in & out. Room was good, nice comfy bed with everything I needed. Newly redecorated. Shower was cold (taps were fine), reported to reception on checkout who said they would get this looked at.

Location and check-in&out are excellent. The shower tab was clogged, every one must stop showering twice before completing! It’s a very old building from 1870s which is fine, but there is no sound insulation. It was hard to sleep when upstair guests were walking and the room maids make noise and phone talks right outside at the room. The room was clean! Nevertheless, the location is so convenient, you can ignore the other inconveniences.

Good location. Clean comfortable rooms. Too many old fashioned internal doors. Good power shower. Nice TV. Nice welcome from reception manager. Fine for overnight stay.

Didn't like that the key didn't work and the staff blamed me for it.

Good location. Good value for price based on location. Room was 211 but was on the 5th floor with no elevators. So not good for everyone. Bathroom was ok but starting to get a bit moldy. We would stay again.

Really convenient and met our needs. Only complaint is that the beds were a bit hard but for a short stay it's perfect
