The hotel is in excellent location and conditions. Staff are very nice. Things to improve: 1. The wifi doesn't work properly. 2. The blackout blinds are nit suitable to block the daylight. 3. Only one elevator working for a big hotel with 8 floors and around 28 room on each floor/storey.

Check in was poor. Told that the card reader was out of service for paying the tourist tax, then told that they don't accept NatWest cards. Someone sorted it out before I left, but being asked to go to a cashpoint, as though their payment problems were mine to solve, was disappointing. The hotel itself is fine, and worth the cost. It's well located and clean. Just the one small lift for all floors is a minor inconvenience

Excellent location with many good restaurants around it. Also near the pier and Liverpool One shopping mall. The room is a bit small though, even when I have already selected the bigger Double Room with windows.

Lovely stay just one very annoying thing was the constant buzzing sound all night in the room meaning very little sleep. In the morning we mentioned it to stafff and they explained it was the extractor fan keeping the air circulating but if we had asked they would have turned it off. I suggest this is mentioned to guests on arrival not when checking out

The curtains were not ok to block the daylight out. The wash hand basin was not fit for purpose. Too small and tap was too big to enjoy a wash. Not comfortable with the glass wall and the lack of privacy in the bathroom. I can see that the bathroom was fitted with disability needs but was not functional.

An excellent budget hotel. Room was small but bed comfortable, shower good and location superb, a short walk from docks. View of Liver building and birds when I pulled back curtain. Tea and coffee making items in room. Breakfast menu was small but tasty and reasonably priced. Would stay again

Okay stay location good but if you want sleep don’t waste your time beds harder than concrete and single glazed windows so you can hear all the noise

Very clean and walking distance to centre

Stayed here for one night. Location is perfect, 10 minute walk from Lime Street station and roughly 5 minutes from the main city centre. Room was ok sized, did the job. Impressed with the fact that they had Sky and all the premium channels which is something you do not see at a hotel. My only issue was the fact the curtains don’t close all the way so light does come in. Would come back here to stay.

We had a good stay and is fine for one nights stay, as rooms are very small but are also very clean. The location is excellent and the staff are extremely helpful.

Very efficient and nice staff

When we arrived we found the staff very helpful and the room was very clean, tea and coffee making facilities were two tea bags, two coffee bags and two milk sachets which was adequate.The following day we went out and on our return we found that the bed was not made, it wasn’t until the following morning that we realised that the tea and coffee making facilities had not been replenished. When we checked out we mentioned this to the receptionist and was told that they only clean the rooms every other day. I said that they could replenish the facilities ready for the following morning and was told that if I had come down to reception I would have been given tea bags and milk. In my opinion you shouldn’t have to fetch them yourself. Also the bottle above the sink was shampoo not hand, face or body wash. My recommendation would be to take your own teabags etc.

I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at The Z Hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable—the room was spotless and felt incredibly fresh. What really made the trip, though, was the staff. They were professional, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure a great stay. Best of all, it was very reasonably priced for the high standard of service and comfort provided. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality, budget-friendly stay!

Staff gave me absolutely the best advice on how to get a cab back from the Hotel to the Arts Club! I don't remember her name Glasses and dare super friendly on the evening shift! Thank you!
