Firstly, the name was misleading "The Liverpool Inn Hotel". it was not value for money. The room with two single beds - was very small not adequate space. The location of the room was not apleasing. The place was not suitable for someone who has disability - no lift The mattress were too soft although the bedlinen were clean Staff: on arrival we were welcome by and elderly man. The bar - I cannot comment on this, as we dont drink alcohol. Shops nearby - good location to the place. I will not recommend people, unless the name is change to say "Inn only" instead of "Hotel". As this might help others when looking for place to stay.

This was not at all what I expected for the price and we decided to cancel our reservation and quickly left despite the no-refund policy. The pics on Expedia were highly misleading. The reception is up one flight of stairs and the room was an additional floor up, with no lift, so we had to drag our luggage up two flights. The room was extremely sparse, with no decor at all, white walls, and garish bright white overhead light. The beds were hard, there was no furniture other than the beds, so no place to put your luggage besides the bed or the floor and nowhere to sit other than the beds. The bedroom had no windows but there was a small window in the bathroom and another small window in a little area between the bedroom and bathroom - that window looked out onto a grimy area with the wall of another building a few feet away. The toilet had some leftover toilet paper in it which led to the impression it hadn’t been properly cleaned before our arrival. The towels were rough and coarse. For a two night stay I was charged $400! This might be an acceptable place for $70/night if you’re young and willing to rough it but not for $200/night. Total ripoff.

Literally 2 minutes walk from Lime St Station and less than 10 from the O2 Academy. Comfy beds and exactly what we needed for an overnight stay to see a gig. It’s not particularly romantic or luxurious, but the price reflects that.

The hotel was clean, centrally located, and the people who worked there were helpful. The problem I have is that I chose this hotel because it was advertised as having a 24/7 reception, which I needed as I was arriving late and leaving early. The room had a broken ironing board and no iron, and I was unable to get replacements as there was no reception in the morning. The lights and plugs were unplugged, I had to shift the bed the find the cables and plug them in myself.

If you are looking for a teeny tiny room that smells like urine and smoke, and is so noisy you can't sleep, then this place has it all. Whether the smell came from the beds, carpets, or the mystery corner is all part of the adventure you will have if you chose to spend a night at this hotel. Conveniently located in the city centre, you have quick access to homeless people, drunken fights, and loud noises all night. However, the literal fight that broke out in the stair well at 3 am outside the room, was the highlight of my stay. Money well spent to be kept up all night by this. For those looking for a gym, unfortunately, you are out of luck, however, the place has no lift so you get both leg day and weights from climbing up four flights of dangerous stairs with suitcases. Very family friendly if the fights and urine smell are the vibes your family looks for in a vacation. The TV the size of a clock will keep the kids entertained, but if it doesn't, then smell bingo or guess who will win the fight and do they have weapon might. The bathroom, that requires you to step inside the shower to close the door to use the toilet, is an engineering marvel that you should not miss the experience of. Nothing like wet feet while you use the toilet. Interestingly the toilet is the one place that the urine smell doesn't come from. All in all, this hotel gives you everything you could ever want, if what you want is strange smells, lack of safety, and being kept awake all night.

Lovely friendly little hotel right in the heart of town. I think the only downside was the noise from other rooms and the corridor was a little intrusive. Nothing out of order just possibly an older building not being soundproofed. That said I'd happily stay here again.
