Very nice hotel, centrally located, within walking distance of the main city park. The room had lots of seats and surfaces - places to unpack onto or store luggage. Comfortable bed, effective air conditioning, reasonably good lighting. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful (if you speak Thai ;^)) A few maintenance issues: couldn't get the computer to connect to the Internet, slot to use the key card to turn on electricity was unreliable, window lock had problems. Breakfast was okay though not anything to rave about. The breakfast room/restaurant is lovely and bright. Too bad it has so many televisions! We used the hotel transportation to get back from Beung Boraphet. Called them to pick us up and they came promptly (though they charge 200 baht each way). We were grateful, since the bus we'd been told to get never showed up!
