Probably the side across the estuary/river has more entertainment options.

The room was relatively large as a Japanese business hotel. It located at a convenient area with many restaurants and bars, but because of that, it was noisy at night by loud Karaoke sounds. The public bath of the hotel was nice though it was a bit weird to use an elevator or stairs while using the bath facilities.

Nice onsen, polite and accomodating staff. Conveniently close to the shopping centre and the strolling area at the river Kushiro.

The room is very old especially the mattress. It sinks when you lie on it. Upon arrival reception insisted that I parked my car in the stack carpark. After much persuasion and explanation that I need to have ground level parking because I have heavy luggage and also need to repack; she eventually showed me to the carpark behind the hotel which has plentiful of parking lots. I also discovered later that it was the hotel’s carpark because collected she 880yen parking fee from me: It still puzzles me why she did not allow me to park there in the first place. Talk about bad service! The spa is unmentionable. There’s nothing I like about this hotel.

Next to the Nusamai Bridge which is the good location watching sunset and sunrise. Like the Onsen facilities (with jacuzzi), a retreat after a long day walking and sightseeing. Less than 15 min walk to Kushiro train station and bus terminal; location is convenient for travelling. Breakfast is good and staff is helpful.

The room was absolutely filthy. The headboard had a large stain on it as did the bed skirt. The floor was covered in bits of trash. The front desk had to be called twice to address the issue and both times seemed less then concerned about the issue. To top it off I list my room card and the charged me a $22 fee.

The staff was very accomadating and patient, considering our limited japanese (at best). Great access to amazing restaurants and bars, and the room was wonderful for the price. There are several incredible night time restaurants within 2 blocks that were some of the best food we had in our trip to Japan. Would definitely go back!

They give themselves three stars which set my expectations pretty high. I guess they deserve them for a place in the city? Anyway, it was fine and convenient.

Air conditioning was weak during early summer night. Need to open window to allow cooler air to flow in.

This is the second time I stay in this Hotel within one month. The room is spacious, clean and the best thing is the washing sink is separated from the toilet, very convenient indeed. The next best thing is the onsen, women guests have 3 floors of facilities to use including one big top floor outdoor onsen, very very good!

We had to take a smoking room due to unforeseen circumstances , and our stay was for 10 days. The smell was disgusting, we had to use our own room spray before we left the room and in our return and keep the window wide open. Having said that the bed linen and towels were very clean. We were disappointed that no one on reception seemed to be able to speak English. But they were helpful when we could make ourselves understood. The breakfast was plentiful but everything was labelled in Japanese so we didn’t really know what to eat I understand that ‘when I Japan’ etc. But we both felt that with its prime location there should have been more staff who spoke English, The hotel seems to be in desperate need of refurbishment, it looks very dated.

This was perhaps the biggest disappointment of the entire Hokkaido trip. Hotel is old and decrepit. Rooms are small and smelled of smoke, the windows had no drapes, everything felt dated. There is absolutely zero signage or service in English. On a positive side - the location is the best in Kushiro for proximity to the bridge and the market.!

We spent a couple of nights at this hotel. It's dated and smells kinda funny but otherwise was fine. Staff was pleasant and the room was clean. Location is pretty good. Kushiro itself was a pleasant, sleepy little port city.
