Room and house are cute. My card was charged a day before arrival, although it said pay-on-arrival. Contacting the property it was very difficult to reach someone. Also the woman rudely started knocking on the door and kept reminding us that check-out is at 11 when there was still almost one hour to go. Like we didn’t know..

Very nice and clean room in a quiet street. Close to main attractions. The lady running the place is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended

Lovely guesthouse!

This is a wonderful and quiet spot to stay in busy Malaga. An easy walk to Malaga castle and surrounding shops and restaurants. Not too expensive to get to the bus station and airport via cab.

Malaga Lodge Guesthouse was a tidy, quiet hostel within walking distance of the main areas/attractions of the city. Only complaint is that no instructions were provided for check-in and there's no one onsite. We had to buzz the intercom (connected to someone's phone) for 15 minutes (within the listed check-in hours) before anyone answered and let us in.

I would highly recommend Malaga Lodge to anyone who is planning on staying in Malaga. The place is about 15 minutes from the center, there are convenience stores nearby, restaurants, and there are a lot of places where you can park for free. We parked on the street just a few minutes from the Lodge. The place is well-organized, comfortable, and quiet. We shared a bathroom and toilet with 2 more rooms on the floor. I never felt that I was sharing it with someone. Whenever I needed it, it was available and super clean. The kitchen was perfectly organized too. Every room had its cabinet and a shelf in the fridge. So you could bring your food and store it. The lady was super helpful. We had 2 bookings. One from 1.6. to 2.6. and another from 2.6. to 6.6. and we wanted to skip check-out and check-in time because we had planned a trip to Ronda on the day of our first check-out. The lady organized everything for us, so we didn't have to wait for check-in and she moved all our belongings from our first room to another. Just a perfect stay!

Great place for short stay. 40 min walk to bus station. Near beaches and shopping.

Lovely place to stay, good transport connections, exceptional value for money

Everything was excellent regarding the property, lovely and clean, comfortable and the kitchen was easy to use and well maintained. I have only given it 4 stars because I hadn’t been warned there would be loud construction noise from outside nearby, together with strong diesel type fumes otherwise I would have tried to book elsewhere. The noise started early in the morning and continued for much of the day, I couldn’t open the French windows because of the strong fumes. It is a pity because apart from that, everything was great.

Nice and clean. Positive to find out that breakfast was possible as complimentary on the house.

Very friendly and helpful host, clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Great place to stay and visit the attractions at Malaga

This is great value. The property is well maintained and is located close to everything. That was what we were looking for inexpensive, clean and centrally located. We found parking a couple of streets away although there is parking near the guesthouse. Our GPS didn't understand that you can't get to the guesthouse via car. It is walk in only. We took the hop on hop off bus which is 50 meters away and that was a excellent option. A great little restaurant is just around the corner to the right.

Our stay at Malaga Lodge was absolutely perfect! The street/neighborhood that the guesthouse is in is very nice, quiet, and a perfect distance from the city center. The lodge itself is very clean and welcoming. It was wonderful having space in the fridge and the kitchen/dining room available for some of our meals. The hostess is lovely and kind. We cannot wait to come back to the Malaga Lodge!

Nice welcome felt home , in quiet authentic little street in safe neighborhood 15 ´ walk from center

Quiet in a more residential area, the communal places including kitchen and bathroom facilities were cleaned every day. The toilet and shower place is shared on each floor between two and three parties but it seemed everyone respected each other’s privacy.

Good stay, nice place. Quiet, good connection to the city center, but a bit far. So might need to spend a bit of money and time to get around. Nice little supermarket not far away, and the street is very quiet. Overall good experience, check-out time could be a bit later though.

It was a very nice establishment, small but very well run. Spotless and nice place to relax. Pity that I was only there for one night, very peaceful and quite, the only noise was the guests because living in such close proximity to each other being such a small place, noise from other guests was quite evident at times.

Good hotel, we stayed for 1 night. Comfortable bed, good air con ceiling fan and a lovely little balcony. Shared bathroom which meant you had to wait for your turn, but not a big deal. Everything was clean and the hostess very friendly.

Fairly central hotel in quiet location close to the castle and the bars and restaurants,the local bus stops at the bottom of the street.
