We stayed here for three days while in Costa Rica. The beach is nice and just steps from the rooms, and the grounds are pretty and well-manicured. We ate at the on-site restaurant (literally 20 steps from the room) once, and the pizza was really good! The hotel is older, but the room was clean, although the bathroom was very small and the tub had stains. Also, there were just three bath towels provided for a room with a queen bed, two singles and a set of bunk beds, and no wash cloths or hand towels. We enjoyed having a kitchenette to make our own breakfast, although again no dish towels or dish cloths provided. A small grocery store was a short walk away where we bought food/drinks and paper towels. There are camp grounds near this property, so we saw/smelled bonfires on the beach in the evening enjoyed by campers and locals. We were awaken each morning about 4 am by a rooster nearby and on the last morning by what sounded like baseballs being thrown onto the metal roof. It turned out to be large seeds/nuts falling from the tree above the roof. If you're looking to spend most of your time on the beach, this is a great place.
