Great location in old town. Clean! Lots of kids playing at the school beside but not too bad for noise level. Shared bathroom worked ok for a first hostel type experience with that. Not fav for future but doable. Check in was good!

This was a wonderful stay! The room was clean, the location was amazing, and the staff were extremely accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Small room, pretty well situated. Parking was a problem. Told it was 22e /night. Charged 31.50e. Other than that, it’s a good buy.

Great location for the old town and the beaches. Everything clean and working. Quite a noisy area given the location. Walls also very thin with the comings and goings in other apartments very audible

Fantastic location. Easy to find and host Communicated well about our later arrival. Comfortable room, fairly quiet, even though in the old town which was quite busy.

Waking distance to all tourist places and restaurants

Everywas great except the cleanliness, the bedding was never changed only the towels. The bathroom was not cleaned and room wasnt dusted.

Human faeces back flowed up the bathroom sink. Bathroom mirror broken edge was dangerous. Bathroom door water damaged & couldn’t close it. Unable to leave window open for any air. horrendous noise from school & nightlife. No reception & no check in/out instructions. Had to leave property due to bathroom issue -no contact from owner regarding problem but charged full fee anyway.

The Talaia was a lovely little pension, perfect for our two night stay in San Sebastian. Our room had the private ensuite, which I would recommend to other couples. As other reviews have mentioned, you can hear everything that is going on there, the walls are a bit thin, but it was fine for us, our neighbours were quiet and we were all considerate of each other. It was in a great neighbourhood for tapas, drinks, and shopping. We were walking distance to the maritime museum and aquarium, and the beach is close too. Unfortunately it was rainy and cool while we were there, but on a hot summer day you are in a great spot to visit the beach. The owner was helpful and very kind, we enjoyed our stay there.

Considering we were at ground level the apartment was very quiet. We were located close to some excellent pintxo bars, and an easy walk to the beach.

La verdad al llegar no sabíamos cómo sería la habitación por lo antiguo del edificio pero NO pudimos quedar mejor ubicados!!! Exactamente lo que estábamos buscando.... Lugar limpio, ubicado a buen precio.... Íker, excelente servicio.... Si volvemos a Denostia nos volveríamos a hospedar ahí y lo recomendáremos ampliamente.... GRACIAS!!!

Great location, comfortable room for the price i paid (28 pounds a night). The noise isolation could be improved as we could hear the neighbouring room.

Talaia Hotel is a very well located place to stay in San Sebastian. The reception was very friendly and we enjoyed our trip very much-

This place should not even be considered a hostel. It’s by far in the best location in Old town walking distance to everything. Only a short walk to the beach (less than 5 mins). It’s super clean, free laundry service and turn over daily and includes breakfast. I will definitely be staying there again!!

Room number 2 is extremely hot. No AC unit. No cross winds. If you open the window the noise level is way to loud to sleep.
