Simply perfect stay

We had a fantastic stay! The room itself was great, as shown in the pictures, and with everything we needed. Bathroom was lovely, a very good shower (much needed after a long day hiking). An exceptionally warm and generous host who has lots of useful tips and suggestions, from places to eat to hiking paths and things to do. A brilliant breakfast including fresh fruit, yoghurt, homemade bread and cakes, ham and cheese etc. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Little confusing to find at first, but I think Owners were friendly, and super helpful getting us checked. Super clean, gorgeous views, great breakfast.

This hotel has a wonderful view of the Towers of Astraka just across the valley. The room was a beautiful example of the traditional wood floor and ceiling of the area, and the hotel is built of stone with slate roofs. The hosts are a great couple, and provide warm service. The breakfast included local dishes which were delicious. We will certainly stay here again on another trip.

I’m so glad we chose this hotel! The hosts were friendly and helpful, the location was unbelievable! There were so many touches that showed how much they cared about creating a beautiful place to stay. If you want to be away from the crowds and In the middle of the natural beauty, this is the place for you. Well worth the drive!

The hotel is beautiful itself and with gorgeous view. The host can't be better and just want us to have a good stay. Feel like at home!

We are a family of 3 - I made a mess up of the booking and got the dates wrong by a week! George (anglasised) was an absolute star, and made everything so easy! The rooms are amazing (we were on a tour of Greece, and we've seen A LOT of rooms) - the photos don't do the place justice. The breakfast was lovely too. I couldn't recommend Papaevangelou more, or indeed Papigo itself.

Very cozy .close to most of the things.

We were astounded by the comfy cozy charm of the units, the service provided by Giorgos Papaevangelou, and the amazing location with view of the town and the mountains. I also love that each of the units has a little courtyard space with seats to sit back and enjoy the view and serenity of the summertime evenings. And they catered to our vegetarian needs providing what I can only call a wonderful breakfast banquet.

Outstanding hospitality in a beautiful setting

Wonderful place designed as an old village house. The owner is very helpful and kind person and the all place designed and managed with full care and getting into every small detail. Rooms are comfortable very clean . Breakfast was rich and Etsy . We recommend to stay here = ir was amazing !

A great place with wonderful views. The owner is so welcoming and helpful! The room is big, with a kitchen and an outside space. We took a rafting tour with "Papigo Rafting" which was great! and a day tour with "alpine Zone" which was also very good! A great hotel in a great area!

It is a beautifully situated property, so close to the peaks of Mount Smolikas and Mount Tymfi. The landscaping is pretty and enhances the view even more! The owner is such a warm and welcoming person and the served breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The room has everything you need. Beautifully decorated in a traditional style, lovely views, good firm bed, good heating, even lights with dimmer where you can adjust the brightness! Very good value. This is a place I would definitely return to if I am in the area. Highly recommended.
