Buon hotel con vari servizi (ristorante, colazione, palestra, WiFi). Posizione assai defilata, "fuori dal mondo". Camera spaziosa, personale cortese e disponibile. Colazione e cena a buffet complete. Parcheggio ampio (in una posizione in cui lo spazio non manca di certo). Ambienti arredati in modo alquanto impersonale. Il problema è il prezzo; spesa esorbitante, per l'Italia sarebbe fuori dal mondo, difficile valutare se accettabile secondo i canoni islandesi; per altri hotel della stessa categoria ho speso meno della metà e rispetto all'Italia erano molto cari.

This hotel was great! The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great views. The dinner was amazing! Very accommodating and helpful staff. Definitely recommend!

Outdated hotel but clean, great breakfast and good location to explore beautiful surrounding areas

Very conveniently located in Vik. Rooms are spacious. We are vegetarian family travelling with young kids. The breakfast buffet was top notch with oatmeal, bread, eggs, cereal,.sandwich options, variety of fruits. Highly recommend.

Property was great had that real rustic charm feeling. The staff was amazing - helpful, kind, informative truly made the stay even more memorable

Clean room, staffs are nice and friendly. I stayed at the wooden cottage and it feels like HOME. We love it so much and it comes with all you need. I really love all the windows all around the living.

Large hotel with lots of tour group buses. Served a purpose with good location but not a great place. No blackout shades so during our trip in June the room remained light.

My daughter and I stayed here 2 nights. While the place was very clean, that is about the only high praise I can give it. The room was sparsely furnished and gave off a dorm room vibe. There were very few amenities - each bed had only 1 pillow, so I had to ask for an additional pillow for each of us. No fridge in the room or even a safe for our passports. My daughter found her bed very uncomfortable the second night, and realized in the middle of the night that housekeeping had flipped her mattress so that the pillow top side was facing the floor, and she was lying on the coil side. Why anyone would do that is beyond me, but it happened. If this place were a bargain I'd rate it higher, but it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in while in Iceland, so I'm giving it only 3 stars.
