The Hand and Spear is a boutique hotel with 12 individually decorated bedrooms. It is also a very welcoming pub with a good range of drinks. The pub itself has lovely spaces in which to relax, have a drink or a bite to eat and is very thoughtfully decorated. We stayed for three nights in a very comfortable and spacious bedroom which was well appointed. The beds are extremely comfortable and a good range of complimentary teas and coffee, plus a mini bar and snacks which are payable are provided. The bathroom is well equipped with complimentary toiletries, a great shower and soft fluffy towels. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and in the bar once. The menu is not huge but varied and enjoyable on the whole. We did however have a few issues with regard to service in the restaurant and housekeeping which we raised with Sotty. He was extremely apologetic and did his upmost to rectify matters in recognition of the problems for which we were very grateful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I wish to give a shoutout to Jordan in the restaurant who looked after us one evening and especially to Sotty who made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. We will definitely return to The Hand and Spear in the future as we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

I've been visiting the Hand & Spear for over four years, mainly during business trips, and it's great to see the positive changes that have been happening recently. A special mention to Darren, the new General Manager. His passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to improving the venue are clear for everyone to see. His drive is second to none, and the physical improvements around the pub inside and out have made it a much more pleasant and welcoming place to spend time. After a period where the pub seemed to lose some of its mojo and was starting to decline, it's genuinely refreshing to see it moving in such a positive direction. I'd also like to give a shout-out to Sotty, who, like Darren, consistently goes out of his way to make sure guests are looked after and enjoying their visit. Their customer-focused approach really stands out and makes a big difference. I only wish some of the other team members shared the same level of enthusiasm and attentiveness. For me, the Hand & Spear has become a great place to visit, focus on work. While I've only stayed in the hotel once many years ago and feel the room rates are a little on the pricey side compared to some local alternatives, the pub itself is definitely heading in the right direction. It's lovely to see the venue improving, regaining its character, and getting better with each visit. Keep up the great work, Darren and the team.

We visited our kids in Weybridge & this was a wonderful place to stay - clean, quiet, quaint. We stayed here twice - during the first few days of our trip and during the last few days of our trip. We got Room #4 both times. It was a cute room that overlooked the outdoor patio. The staff is what makes us give this review 5 stars! They were all amazing! We loved going down to the pub for breakfast and dinner, everything we had was hands down delicious! Our last morning there, they even payed for our breakfast tab which was completely unexpected and very sweet. It was also in the perfect location to the train station, so it was convenient to travel to and from London and surrounding areas. If we visit again, we would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful stay! We stayed at the Hand & Spear for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We were really looked after by the lovely Jess and Jordan. We would 100% recommend the Hand & Spear.

Loved the stay, the food, and the amenities. All top tier. The design of the rooms really sold it for me, this type of place is wayyyyy better than staying in any chain hotel. Taken care of with love. Thank you!
