Lovely, bright hotel in a gorgeous location! Stunning views all around. Mainly for a romantic get away. String WiFi but not exactly business friendly. The food is really good! But not worth half-board or full-board prices. No alcohol on this island (Huraa) but there's a day pass to a resort that does. Water activities can be organized, no problem. Best part was the staff for sure! Absolutely warm, attentive and competent. I was treated with respect; like a welcomed guest! There are 2 extra cafes near by if you're looking for a little someone different to eat. And there's an ATM at the pier. The hotel manager will get you set up with a ferry to and from. It's a little disorienting fitting out where to go and when after leaving the airport but it all worked out. There were some leaks and there are several signs of water damage but it's but really a problem. Shower is clean, strong and warm. Windows don't close and there's no bug zappers. Overall, it was really great experience for me.

I stayed at the hotel 6 nights and I wished I stay more. The hotel is not really like in the pictures but this wasn't a problem for me. Because the people from the reception to the restaurant have made the difference. And the delicious food they cook,and the surrounding ... Overall,it was a very good and pleasant stay!

Quiet establishment, they greeted you by name when you were coming/going. It was very pleasant.

Staff were friendly and helpful. But surrounding area looked deserted and ghetto. I left 6 days early and I am still waiting for those nights to be refunded. I would never go back.

Nice service

I loved how there was a convenience store a few blocks away. The restaurant in the hotel was wonderful. The chef made excellent dishes everything was well made and fresh. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was professional and friendly and efficient. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend.

The Maldives can be a tricky country to visit. For many the country evokes images of super expensive resorts on beautiful isolated atolls with no locals (and very expensive booze). However, for those who want to visit the country and not pay thousands of dollars for a week's stay, there is an alternative. Guesthouses are great as you get a lot of attention from the staff and you can interact with Maldivians in local villages. The Kanborani is an excellent choice if this is what you want. The staff really cannot do enough for you and the guesthouse is situated on an atoll close enough to Male for a quick trip to and from the airport. The guesthouse is very comfortable, clean, quiet, with nice balconies overlooking the water and a nearby resort, and an ever changing menu for breakfast that was prepared fresh and delicious every morning. There are also nice restaurants nearby for dinner and local markets for anything you might want to get for snacks. I really recommend this place for anyone who does not want to spend a fortune, but just wants to relax on nice beaches, explore a local Maldivian village, and have the opportunity to explore by boat the local reefs and fishing areas. Definitely a great stay with a great owner and manager who cheerfully met my every request!

I couldn't wait to write a review for this place and writing this on my way to Airport. If you are thinking to visit Maldives, Please don't waste your money on expensive resorts. You will get same level of comfort, scenic, ocean view room, service, food options here at Huraa island in Kanbo Rani hotel. Hotel representative picked us up from airport. Took us to a nice ocean front restaurant for breakfast and then boarded us on the speed boat to Huraa We got a warm welcome with drink at the hotel and our vacation began. I had a ocean view room which is more spacious than my own flat's bedroom. Its clean and clear. Room had awesome view of infront trees and sea green water. Breakfast is plentiful. Owner Abdullah Sir, Manager Mirza sir were super helpful. Its Mirza sir for whom we were able to go snorkelling. Special thanks to you. All the service was also awesome. They gave attention just as much as it is required. We were also invited for a very beautiful decorated outdoor dinner. Besides the hotel, Huraa Island is very small, quiet and beautiful island. It takes all kind of payments like USD, MVR, VISA Cards. To summarise Kanbo Rani hotel made our Maldives visit memorable, and we could not thank them enough for that. I recommend Huraa and Kanbo Rani Hotel.

Die Unterkunft liegt an einem kleinen einheimischen Strand. Der Bikinibeach ist mit den kostenlosen Fahrrädern innerhalb von 5 min gut erreichbar. Das Frühstück wird nicht als Buffet angeboten sondern man bekommt entweder das kontinentale oder das einheimische Frühstück am Tisch serviert. Das zugehörige Restaurant ist sehr gut und wir haben zwei mal dort gegessen. Unser Zimmer war leider etwas verlebt, aber es war sauber. Alles in allem eine gute Unterkunft für 2-3 Nächte
