Beautiful boutique hotel with stunning views! Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location near the old town, bars and restaurants, the Balenciaga Museum,etc. Only booked for one night in Getaria but will definitely stay here again!

This is a charming hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were excellent. The only negative is the absence on any parking and having to rely on street parking in the adjoining commercial district. Also, actually dropping off and picking up luggage is a challenge in the narrow cobbled streets. But after you are checked in, it is a fabulous location with great views and amazing charming dining options, beach close by.

I really liked this hotel for its uniqueness, location, stunning views, and great staff. You have to keep in mind that the building is very old, from something like the 1600’s , and there are nuisances to any old building versus a new structure. There are areas that could use some upgrades, simple things like pillows but that being said, the benefits of this gem are worth it.

This is an amazing hotel. Of special note the staff, especially , Buba was so helpful with check in and recommending restaurants! We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend the Saiaz Getaria Hotela!

Friendly staff, great location, great views

amazing stay in this lovely boutique hotel in Getaria. It boasts the most amazing view even without a room with sea view since there is a welcoming balcony and “library” for all to enjoy.

This is an absolute gem of an hotel. The building and decoration is stunning. Our room had the most incredible floor to ceiling window with sea views. It was spacious and beautifully designed. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The location is fantastic. One of the best places I've ever stayed.

Best hotel by far we have stayed in over many years of touring Europe. Good sized bedroom plus another room with sofa etc.! And a direct view of the sea out of both rooms. Hotel full of character, plus areas, including a large balcony, on first floor to sit with view of sea. Reception staff very helpful. Worth making a significant detour to stay in this hotel - attractive town has good range of restaurants etc.

Stunning sea view. For those travelling with a dog: no dog facilities in the room (bed, bowl) but they are allowed in the breakfast room.

We had an amazing sea view from our room and spent time on the outdoor, shared balcony. Breakfast was good and location excellent. Highly recommend.

I booked a room on a Monday evening, deciding on a last minute overnight trip to Getaria on Tuesday morning. The rooms looked nice online, but that's what the internet is about: making everything look nice even if it's not. The hotel and room exceeded expectations in every way. My room had a panoramic ocean view that was simply stunning. To make it even better, the refrigerator was stocked with a variety of Basque beer. When I first arrived, I didn't want to leave the room but would have been happy with that view while enjoying local beer. But I did get out and the Saiaz was close to everything in town. Highly reommended.

What a beautiful hotel in a picturesque beach town! Splurge to get a room with a view! Staff was amazing and friendly! Breakfast was delicious-coffee, breads, cheese, sausage, fruit, and tortilla. We walked into town to enjoy fresh grilled seafood. 15th century building with so much character! Would stay again !
