The owner is very nice and the place was super clean.

I've stayed here in the past and you cannot beat the price and convenience.

Good stay. Close to the wildlife refuge I volunteer at during the summer. Would stay again.

Bugs

You often get what you pay for. I paid very little and got very little. That was expected. The room was very small and smelled a little, but it was also clean, tidy and no insects of any kind. I was hoping for a clean cheap motel and that is exactly what it was :) I don't put 5 stars just because at 5 stars people expect things to be perfect, which it wasn't. For example, the walls are made of cardboard and you hear every single car driving by on the street behind. So bring ear plugs :)

Nice hotel in a very small town. Seems mainly workers stay here from the oil fields. Room was clean, quiet, affordable.

this is my regular go to when on solo motorcycle trips to this area. All the things I want to make it an easy overnight stay.

Clean and quiet plus good price.

Some pretty black and gray cats live in the area. They will not approach you if you don't call them over. Also, they do not fight with each other or make any noise. Some people feed them and pet them. I was one of those fortunate folks. That was the best part of it for me!

Great place to stay on an overnight trip

Sewer smell in room, loose toilet....and I mean loose. AC unit quit in the middle of the night...woke up sweaty at midnight…..finished my night's sleep in the front seat of my car.......never again

Great motel centrally located in Taft. Comfy beds, quiet room and good condition.
