Excellent heritage property surrounded by lush green trees with beautiful mountains in the distance. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast offered good variety, and the local dinner dishes were absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the market.

Property needs a new customer service and experience approach consistent with the current trends and with the new on site administrator, things will definitely change going forward.

We stayed in Ashdale for 9 nights and loved the place with history and our spacious room. The staff was very friendly and polite. However we were very much disappointed with our trip to Jim Corbett organized by hotel. We were given the impression that we were going to be in Jim Corbett National Park to see wild animals, but when we reached , we found out it was just a trip in Jeep in the out skirts. Very disappointing! After paying so much money we felt a bit cheated and when we confronted the hotel, the staff told us the area we went to comes under Corbett and Jim Corbett itself has to be booked 45 days before taking the trip. They should have told us this frankly and beforehand so we could have decided whether we want the trip or not. Furthermore, the cost of cab hiring for day trips arranged by hotel was more than double what we paid when we hired on our own. There were small hiccups about housekeeping like we had to ask for towels , toilet roll etc as these were forgotten.
