The resort was beautiful. The food was prepared beautifully and was delicious. The staff went above and beyond. We felt at home. We got food poisoning on day 4 (not from the resort) and the whole staff took care of us. From our pick up at the airport to transportation to the water taxi to the golf cart rental and extension….everything was taken care of. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you Playe de sala. You made Belize magnificent. Highly recommend!

Vickie made my stay very welcoming. This place is very private, and very relaxing. Right on a beach front all to yourself. Food is great, and drinks from the Boat Bar are WONDERFUL Carlos & Sebastian make the experience blissful.

My recent stay at Playa de Sala was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The service was exceptional across the board. Princess and Ange at the bar were incredible—friendly, attentive, and always ready with creative drink suggestions. I never had to wait for a drink, and their mixology ideas made every evening special. The kitchen team was equally outstanding. Karna and Melissa prepared everything to perfection, from the mouthwatering surf and turf to the crispy shrimp tempura and the delicious breakfast served every morning. Every meal felt like it was crafted with care. My room was spotless every day thanks to Ellia , who not only kept everything perfectly clean but also checked in to make sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Playa de Sala is the ideal place for a relaxing, memorable vacation. I’m already looking forward to returning!

The hotel was fantastic if you are looking for secluded and peaceful. The chefs were amazing, the blackened catch of the day and watermelon salad were the best. If you are going to stay here you need to rent a golf cart, it’s about 25 minutes to town on a bumpy road. Staff was great, food was great, only downside was the distance from town which I didn’t realize would take so long.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. And the on-site bar? A hidden gem with great vibes and drinks to match. The staff was friendly and helpful

This property was very well maintained, the staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming and helped a lot as first time visitors to Belize. Princess was especially helpful as we spent a lot of time at the Jammin Boat and she gave amazing recommendations for the trip, she made our week long stay feel like home. The food there was delicious, the drinks also super good, and the hotel had a beautiful beach and complimentary kayaks for us to use which was super fun. I appreciated their strong wifi and the easy AC system as it was pretty warm during our stay. Overall a 10/10, we will definitely be staying again!

Staff were amazing and friendly. Property is about 20-25 mins from town but there are restaurants between town and the hotel. The area is quiet and safe.

The atmosphere very romantic, the staff created the perfect ambiance and was available 24/7. The view was spectacular. Minutes away from town by golf cart. Islanders were very friendly. Local cuisine was mouthwatering. Definitely going back!!

This place was amazing. It is a little off the beaten path but the staff, food, drinks and peacefulness was certainly worth the trip. I'm certainly thinking about booking again for our next trip.
