The rooms and staff

The rooms were clean, but was worn to some degree. The staff were courteous. Breakfast was adequate, and coffee machine was great

The room was nasty. I slept in my clothes and it still never stopped me from getting a bite by some incect...Never again. Plan your trip and stay elsewhere.

Inside thebhoyel is nice

The property is old and needs maintenance. The staff were very very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was alright. We found boiled stale eggs that were probably past expiry date. But the staff were nice enough to replace them when asked.

Clean and quiet

There were roaches. The window couldn't be closed causing insecure room. The window's wood have started falling apart. There's a bad smell inside. It was a torture being there. I have photos. Couldn't upload because the upload button is not working.

Nice atmosphere

It was the cheapest bigger hotel in Thompson, of course there will be issues. It was ok. Sketchy part of town, but Thompson is all sketchy. The blackout curtains in the room were a joke. How hard is it to hang curtains properly? Berry hard, apparently.

I like that the building is close by restaurant and staff is friendly. I also enjoyed the free breakfast.
