The Good part was a comfortable King size bed and an adequate cold breakfast. The motel needed newer carpets about 10 years ago and a paint job in the public areas about 15 years ago. there were two security guards sitting in the lobby 24 / 7. the front door was always locked, use your key to get in, or the security will open it. The security helped me with suitcase upstairs as I have bad knees. The desk clerk sits behind a plexiglass window, but he was helpful. because my train leaving was not until 5 Pm I asked to stay a later check out, until 12:30, he said OK. I guess the surrounding area had a lot of lazy young people not working, there was a Tims about two blocks away and A & W closer.

I stayed there about 15 years ago. It’s getting ageing to from the previous time I stayed there. Staff was very friendly. Had the room ready early for me in time so I could go to my medical appointment.

Parking was good

I was worried when I pulled up to the entrance and saw the crowd of undesirables that are so common around businesses in Thompson, however once inside after speaking to the front desk clerk, I was far less worried. The hotel is secure - you cannot get beyond the foray without a key, and there is a 24 hour security team on the property. Once in my room, I had to check with the front desk to see if my room type had been changed because the room was far bigger than what I saw on the pictures! It was an incredible deal for the price I had paid! Finally, it was a quiet hotel! There was never any rowdy guests or any nonsense like that in the two nights I stayed there. If I ever find myself back in Thompson, I will definitely stay here again!

It is OK to stay overnight.

The hotel checked my room out to another guest while I was in my room during the last night of my stay. The front desk acknowledged it was their error. No apology. I would have moved to another hotel if another one was available.

Parking was not always available also due to snow, the snow in parking lot was not cleared. Hotel had security which was nice. Room was okay bed, sofa, table was clean. Floors were old carpets that needed to be vacuumed especially along the walls where all the dust sits. Microwave needed to be wiped down as there were finger marks everywhere. Door mirror in bathroom was quite disgusting. Tub sink and mirror were clean, but the shower curtain on the inside still had soap or shaving cream on it. Don’t rely on the continental breakfast as there is barely anything there you get cereal, toast, microwavable, bacon. There was no fruit or yogurt.

Parking was a bit hard. The lot needed to be cleaned of snow which made it hard to get in and out and find a spot to park

Not enough parking, very dirty room, heater in room was not functioning properly, we kept having to adjust from cold to warm all night long. Smelled like marijuana, the Window is not sealed and had a large crack with wind blowing in. And we could hear everything from outside. The phone kept ringing at night. Would not recommend staying here.

The rooms were clean, but was worn to some degree. The staff were courteous. Breakfast was adequate, and coffee machine was great

The room was nasty. I slept in my clothes and it still never stopped me from getting a bite by some incect...Never again. Plan your trip and stay elsewhere.
