A very pleasant state and excellent breakfasts

Room was lovely, just the right size. Staff welcoming & friendly, A lovely touch to get a free breakfast the following day. No issues with parking. Only 1 point to make, room was very hot so we should have asked for a fan (but it was 34 degrees outside!), so not even sure a fan would help!. Overall, would definitely return if we needed a night in Southampton again.

Easy to find and plenty of free parking. Cooked breakfast was wonderful and happy to offer you anything you wanted. Just a note for anyone booking, there is no where to eat dinner within walking distance. Found a lovely pub near the estuary but had to drive

Well located and reasonable price. Bathroom was on the tight side . Tiny tv. Pillows not very comfy. Breakfast was delicious

We recently stayed here while visiting the new forest. It was great! We had a double room which was clean and comfortable it had tea & coffee making facilities and biscuits, good shower but a bit small and a very comfortable bed. Our room was facing the road but was really quiet and only heard one or two cars pass by. There was off street parking which was a bonus. The breakfast was fantastic which had a good choice of fresh fruit and cereals or cooked, I went for the cooked breakfast both mornings and it was excellent and everything came out hot. Rob was very welcoming and nothing was too much bother. We had a very enjoyable stay here and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place, right by Fawley refinery where I needed to be. Staff were so lovely and accommodating, breakfast was brilliant also, will definitely be back and would recommend to others 5*

Really clean and tidy. Everything supplied like tea coffee biscuits hairdryer and even water bottle. Nice shower room.

I only stayed one night the room was small but clean. Ideal for a single person travelling. The breakfast was good the next morning the owner was lovely and helpfull.

Lovely stay. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking and very easy to check in (just send a message on here or contact the property directly to advise of your arrival time.) The breakfast was really great and there is lots of options for all diets. Room was spacious and clean, bed was really comfortable. There is also a fridge under the stairs for guests to use which is very thoughtful. Plenty of parking right outside. There’s a few restaurants and a supermarket a short walk away (10-15 minutes) Highly recommend Walcot House.

Excellent value with a superb breakfast.

Booked through hotels.com paid extra for halfboard. When i got there sign outside said B&B, checked in, asked what time evening meals served he replied " we have never done half board etc". Looks likes hotels.com may have mislead me and charged for a service a didnt get .

We stayed one night before joining our cruise. Breakfast was included and was a nice start to the day. Plenty of choice. Car park was free and right outside. Very friendly, left our luggage downstairs as we didn't want to carry them upstairs and they were looked after.

Was only for 1 night would have liked to have stayed for long period of time as i have started at Fawley till December. Very nice place and 2 minutes from Job.

The room was pleasant and comfortable. I had a lovely nights sleep there. I didn’t try the breakfast as I was meeting friends for a bite to eat instead. Would definitely recommend!
