I travel alot staying in many lovely motels but the Milton Chalet was the first one I have ever unpacked at and felt settled and at home. I loved my stay

The chalet was very cosy and comfortable and had everything could think of for a family. The staff were really lovely, welcoming and accommodating to any requests. Would stay again.

It was great to have our dog with us and the carport facility was great for loading and unloading as it was pouring with rain.

So friendly, fun and clean! Awesome spot x

We went over to Nelson for an Obedience show. Being allowed our dogs in the Motel is just awesome. The proprietor made us and our dogs feel very welcome . Would use this motel again.

Our host was very friendly, and could not do enough for us to make our stay homely, being dog friendly was the key but dog or no dog we could not fault, thanks heaps

Nice and tidy. Service was great. Shower was amazing. Beds are very old feeling and uncomfy to sleep on and the couch was also very uncomfy and made it hard to relax at night after a busy day.

The hosts were warm and welcoming, very accomodating. Very clean rooms.

It was quiet, pleasant, in a nice neighborhood, about 20 min walk to the city.

It was a smashing motel in an excellent location - 15 mins from town. An added bonus was a pub 30 yards down the road.

We had a wonderful time in Nelson which was partly due to the owner of The Milton Chalet Motel. Charming friendly, extremely helpful, went out of her way to make us feel at home. Lovely pool was abonus as it was very hot while we were there. The facilities were excellent.

Good location. Nice setting. Very friendly people. Hard working and helpful. Older property that is being updated nicely. Would stay there again.
