A family vacation at the Ammara Hotel was a real treat because of its strategic location, a 10-minute walk to Legian Beach. For those on a budget, it's also close to food stalls and a mini market (in front of the hotel, there's a Madura stall that seems to be open 24 hours, selling beer at a much cheaper price, and there's also a Pertamini). However, if you need laundry, the prices are still foreigner prices (if you want it cheap, it's better to walk a little further so you can get laundry for around 10,000 rupiah per kilo). We stayed with four people on the second floor in a pool view room. The room was very large and the bathroom was clean. It would have been better if there was a light above the toilet, and the sink and toilet often emitted an unpleasant odor. We really liked the shower; it was great for a head massage. I don't know what the hotel's procedures are, but during our 9-night stay, the room was only cleaned when we asked for it; if we didn't, it wasn't cleaned. Another advantage here is that on the first floor, we get free water refills and can make tea and coffee. When we stayed here, we liked to buy food from outside and eat together in the lobby while watching people pass by in front of the hotel. It was fun. Our 9 nights at the Ammara Hotel were quite memorable. If we return to Bali, we would happily stay here again. Thank you.

The accommodation is quite comfortable and clean, but a bit stuffy. The location is okay, close to minimarkets, places to eat and also the beach. The staff are friendly, but the service is also quite good. The facilities are quite complete although some are not well maintained. Suitable for a short stopover. Not disappointed, but not too special either.

Very cool, clean room, friendly staff, only the toilet flush needs to be fixed because it is slow when pressed, it doesn't go in, the hotel is very classic, so far it's good

Cannot check in 03-31-2025, because it is full. The Traveloka system has issued an e-ticket (03-22-2025), but it is not connected to Ammara (according to Ammara). Forced to refund and is still being processed by Traveloka.

Cons: 1. The toilet has no water for washing, 2. The shower doesn't have hot water and the flow is very small. 3. The signal in the basement room is bad.

I am very impressed with the building and the classic nuances and it is also the right choice to rest comfortably and peacefully. It's just that the lack of lighting in the front area and entrance, it should be better if given LED strip lights or spotlights so that it adds a bright and modern atmosphere that can eliminate the stigma of people that this hotel is haunted. In fact, this is a good hotel in its time and it is very comfortable to stay here without any impression of being haunted/horror at all. But overall I am very happy to stay here and might recommend it to friends/family when visiting Bali, especially the Kuta Legian area of Bali. And for the security, Mr. Gede is very kind, funny, friendly and friendly to chat with. Hopefully the hotel management can develop it further next time. Continued success for Ammara by Vilarisi.
