I highly recommend this guesthouse. The rooms are good and very clean. The staff—a completely male-run business!—is very friendly, uncomplicated, and attentive. They serve a great breakfast at a reasonable price. The location is central and close to the bakery, the fishing hut, and the boat rental. So book now and enjoy the beautiful area in the Zechliner Land, which hasn't yet been plagued by overtourism.

A nice guesthouse with a friendly staff. The breakfast is very good. We also took advantage of the opportunity to rent a motorboat, which was very easy and gave us a lot of fun on the nearby lakes.

We just returned from our vacation there yesterday. We're still totally euphoric, as we were expecting something completely different. We read the reviews before leaving and went there with a queasy feeling. All the things written more than two years ago can be safely forgotten, because there was apparently a change of ownership, and a lot has been changed since then, offering a paradise for vacationers. The rooms are clean and practical. The breakfast buffet is delicious, plentiful, and lovingly prepared. The manager is practically always on site and always willing to listen to his guests, and he can also offer tips on leisure activities. The inner courtyard is inviting – even in bad weather – to linger. There you can also chat with other guests and unwind. There's also a large common room with an integrated kitchen. In my opinion, there's no reason to resort to a holiday home or bungalow. After 10 days, it was very difficult for us to leave, as it felt so like family thanks to the wonderful manager and his staff. We had a holiday that will stay with us forever. Many thanks to everyone involved ♥️. P.S. If there's one criticism, it's that the website doesn't immediately state that a kitchen with a refrigerator is available. This might give you the idea of booking a vacation apartment instead. I think this should be clearly stated.

We stayed at the guesthouse for a long weekend. Although we were the only guests, the extremely friendly staff served us a sumptuous breakfast. On top of that, we had some very warm, open conversations. We would definitely come back. The rooms were super clean and comfortable; there's nothing to complain about. The place is very quiet, almost sleepy in the fall – but so incredibly beautiful! Value for money? Unbeatable. All in all: a clear recommendation!
