The hotel was conveniently situated in downtown and you can walk out and find many restaurants and shops along Water Street, which is closed off to cars in the summer. It’s a short drive to Signal Hill and Cape Spears whereas it is within walking distance to the Rooms, Jellybean Row, and the Basilica. The room is equipped with a Nespresso machine and pods for your convenience. There is also paid parking underground.

From the very moment we entered the hotel, the two women on the front desk were very courteous and professional booking us in. As this was our first time in St. John, Newfoundland they took the time to answer our questions and made us feel completely comfortable that our choice to visit St. John from Toronto, Ontario was an excellent choice.

Best location…right in the heart of St Johns so you can walk everywhere. It’s got a water view. Staff are excellent - helpful, prompt and friendly. The hotel is very clean, the furniture and decor are art pieces yet functional and comfortable. The room controls are high tech and quite impressive, there’s a coffee shop which makes really good coffee 👌 There’s parking if you’re renting a car. Keep it up guys! I had a really good and relaxing stay here. Highly recommended !

We recently stayed at The Arts Hotel for two nights. The location was excellent—within easy walking distance of the waterfront, restaurants, shops, and everything we wanted to see in downtown Charlottetown. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient without having to worry about driving or parking. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel had a fun, contemporary feel that suited the city perfectly. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. If you're looking for a budget friendly, well-located, modern hotel with excellent service, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Arts Hotel. We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit to Prince Edward Island.

I could ask the staff for direction help or extra supplies like towels for the room and it was done with immediately and with great kindness.

The room we were given had (408) a couple of issues: there was a used shower cap on the bathroom floor and the shower controller had an issue. The shower was too hot and when I moved the lever up (about 10 o'clock on the dial) to make it colder, the lever dropped down to where the water was hot. We stayed there a week earlier and didn't have an issue. Other than that we liked the hotel.
