The breakfast buffet was absolutely wonderful. The rooms ect were clean and crisp. The staff: The young ladies working when I came in were pleasant and the house keeping young lady was full of smiles. The young gentleman working there literally could not be bothered. I asked him if he could please call me a cab when I checked out, because I dont speak the language and I was traveling alone. I have had such bad experiences with upcharges in Poland. Most of the taxi drivers don't use meters. They just tell you what they want to charge. Anyway, he did reluctantly call. I did give him a tip for calling which he did look surprised by and he did seem to appreciate it. It should not be such a big deal to call a cab for a customer. Anyway, The Grot Hotel in Malbork were soo nice and accommodating, but many places are not. I will never stay there again because you don't want to feel like a burden when you pay good money to go somewhere.

Staff was very nice and so was the breakfast buffet. The room was very cramped. The bed was extremely uncomfortable…The pillows were like sand bags. The comforter was way too thick(The AC barely works and with window is locked shut) and they don’t use fitted sheets on the bed. With my tossing and turning I wind up sleeping on the mattress cover. The only two nights I slept well was when I was drinking booze.

I like the room with conditioner, I hope the create and connect tape water with hose for washing after using the toilet it is more healthy than using tissue after using toilet

Short 2 night break in Krakow, hotel right on the river, close to the balloon ride and ferris wheel etc. Easy to walk to all the attractions via the river walk, 20 min gentle walk. Parking available under the hotel, look out for the easily missed carpark entrance about halfway along the hotel frontage. Great buffet btlrwakfast available.

Acomodating with luggage and close to train station

Great location. Very good breakfasts. Clean room, disappointed with dirty sheets on one bed. Receptionist replaced with the clean ones and offered monetary compensation which we never received.

Conveniently placed within walking distance of Old Town. Transport (trams and bus) next to hotel.

The girls at the front desk were extremely helpful when I asked them how to navigate getting from one location to another.

Great location, located approx 20 mins walk from Old Town and close to the castle. Hotel was clean, friendly staff and great value for money. Highly recommend.

Can not stand the noise from the street. Traffic lights are making so loud noise. I understand that is for blind people but disturbed my sleep.

If you are super picky about cleanliness maybe consider another place. It was not dirty but rooms could’ve been cleaned better (we found some hairs in the bed when checking in). Aside from that, location is convenient, a tram station is right in front of the hotel, as well as bus stations, and old town is a short 15min walk. The staff were friendly and if you add breakfast to your reservation the food was plenty and tasty.

It is close to my office and like their breakfast buffet.
