We stayed for 3 days, no housekeeping, had our baby so that was fun, sitting in a room with poop diapers, I went out everyday and when I came back my keycard never worked Pool was ok, very bare, breakfast- waffles, toast, burnt bacon, cereals some kinda egg omelet which was actually decent. In my opinion its ok but not worth paying 240 a night

Very clean and well-maintained! Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and very-well laid out. Parking was appropriate.

I liked the staff and their personal approach .I felt so happy when they asked how was the breakfast and how was the room.At the time of checkout how was your stay.The staff provided inputs as to what we can see.

Attentive staff. Premises and room spotless

No towel bars in the bathroom. Curtains can’t close so room wasn’t dark at night.

Parking was great and the hotel was easy to find.

The room was well appointed and clean. Very quiet in the hallways at night. Comfortable bed and good tv. We enjoyed our one night stay. Breakfast was average.

The first thing I check in any hotel/BNB are the bathrooms. This itself will set the tone; a standard I've created for myself :'). The bathroom was emmaculate. Room was very well maintained. Free breakfast, which had a great spread. Staff were very kind, as well. Would definitely be coming back if Goderich pops up on the future roadmap.

Great location and comfortable rooms. Good continental breakfast. Would be nice to have an outdoor patio to enjoy when the weather is nice.

Great room, great staff, super clean

For those on a travelling holiday this is a ideal choice for a few days stopover.

Would like nreakfast to ne avail a little longer if checkout is 1100 breakfast should.be avail until. 1030 for us thst like to sleep in. Staff at front desk were great she changed my room for me from front to back of the buikding so it was quieter less traffic noise from a busy road nearby. Bed was comfortable but there was some small pieces of last guests garbage (used plastic food take out spoon) foumd behimd the chair and i had walked on some some garbage bits on the carpet like it had not been vacuumed... Lots if parking avail wish the building was further back from major traffic hub so it would be a little quieter

It was a satisfactory visit. AC in the room sounded like a tractor every time it turned on. Staff very nice and they had cookies and lemon water when you came in.

Had to ask for daily housekeeping. First day was great, second day they didn't come, third day they knocked loudly on our door before 8 am. Then they phoned at 8 am to see if we wanted housekeeping, it was the Sunday morning of the long weekend and we were at a wedding the night before. We left that morning despite having paid for another night.

Comfortable

Hotel was very clean inside. Outside first view was disappointing. Grass needed cut and cleaned up. Parking lot was covered with pieces of wood (small branch pieces.) A good sweep would have made it look that much better. As far as the room, there was no working exhaust fan in the bathroom. The curtains on the windows don't close completely. No privacy from the street plus facing streetlights and cars all night long. Very noisy in room. Can hear the other guests from their rooms. Whenever the toilet in room above was flushed, it sounded like water was pouring into our room. Better soundproofing was needed. For an accessible room, a walk in shower would be much better than a tub. But the addition of a shower chair was nice. Breakfast was brought to hotel precooked and was gone early. They need more and freshcooked would have been much better. I will try a different place on my next trip to Goderich.

Free parking with lots of parking spot and breakfast is fresh

The breakfast staff behaved as if the food was being given out for free. They kept staring at us the entire time, and when we politely said “good morning,” they completely ignored us and continued looking at us in an uncomfortable way. We were not sure if something was wrong or if they were upset, but this type of behavior and gestures in front of customers are very unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome. We stay at Comfort Inn very often and have booked many times, but this experience was more disappointing. We expect customers to be treated with basic courtesy and respect.
