Lovely experience, It is one of a kind experience to stay at Stok palace Heritage hotel. The rooms are stately & atmosphere serene. The view of snow capped mountains from the room as well from other parts of the property is beautiful. The staff is ever attentive to the needs of the guests. The Dinners ( Ladakhi as well as North Indian) were a cosy affair with very tasty food. The only niggle was absence of tea Kettle in the room

For anybody who loves art and heritage, the historic Stok Palace makes for a great stay. The beautifully restored palace has a lot to offer; rooms with stories, well preserved artefacts, and thoughtfully prepared food. While it has an independent museum with the most stunning thangka collection, your entire stay feels like living in a museum! Thank you for the hospitality and keep up the good work.

This deserve six stars! The staff is super friendly, and the rooms are in perfect condition. When you look outside of the window, you can see the beautiful Himalaya and the capital city of the Ladakh, Leh, is not far away. The house is an ancient building, though it does not seem like it. Everything is so well-maintained and there is art everywhere. The food that we ate was delicious and balanced.

My mum and I stayed here for 2 nights in one of the heritage rooms overlooking Leh. It was stunning ornately painted and very comfortable bed and bathroom. The doors are small as it is over 200 years old, so watch your head! I was surprised to have good wifi in the room, the service and hospitality of all the staff was incredible. We were given a private tour of the museum and palace. The ladakhi meal on the first night was very tasty and beautifully presented and the second night we had an Indian meal in the royal dining room. It’s truly amazing to stay in a palace that still has their royal family living here too. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

We visited stok palace for the curated lunch experience which was indeed a treat for the palate! 7 courses of authentic freshly cooked dishes each unique in its own way and served with love and passion! And a delectable sweet dish after all that! The chefs and servers were not only extremely attentive but took time to explain each course and the Ingredients within. A delightful experience and a must do for all visiting Leh!!
