After two years of not reviewing any of my stays, here I am finally taking time to write one - because it turned out opposite from most reviews. Just finished my Komodo trip earlier in the day and back here to collect my left baggage from the reception. Let me begin the entire experience pre-landing into Labuan Bajo. I have contacted a staff via the contact number obtained from Google to arrange a supposed to be free airport shuttle. The staff have acknowledged & noted my flight details and TOA, but unfortunately 30 minutes after arrival, my calls were not answered and no one contacted me via mobile or phone. What a let down. I got a taxi. Upon arrival at 9am, room wasn’t ready. That was fine. The staff I contacted via WhatsApp did not apologise but just blueticked me. So, today I had to leave the hotel at 5am for my Komodo tour but shuttle could not be arranged. Their first shuttle is at 6:40am (supposedly). Reception is also not 24hours, so I had to leave my bags outside the reception before I left for Komodo, which is accessible to public - they do not have security or keycard access into hotel premises. After my Komodo tour ended at 2pm, I requested for shuttle again at Mediterraneo restaurant (the pick up/drop off point), but was told there isn’t any shuttle from 2pm to the next one at 8pm. No point having a schedule if you don't follow them. That is not how you run a hotel business. Superior Room “France” was pretty basic. No TV (if you need one), no toothbrush, just towels, bath soap, and shampoo. I’ll be back in Labuan Bajo, but not here. “Please give us five stars”, stated on the hotel card given upon check in. Lol, no way guys.
