Staff in the restaurant are solid gold. Wonderfully friendly and helped with the food order in any way possible. 2 very wonderful ladies.

Well decorated, spacious rooms with an excellent restaurant. The combination of road noise & recent high temperatures makes sleeping more of a challenge, e.g. windows open for heat but then increasing road noise! Aircon would be great or at least fans available

Had a one night stay. Value for money. Large room. Breakfast could of started a bit earlier than 9.30.

Very quiet, very clean and very easy to book and check in.

Was good value for money. Conveniently situated for visiting Renishaw Hall wine tasting and gardens . Comfy bed, and not a bad size bathroom. Rain shower but no hairdryer. The food in the restaurant was really good, not that quick to appear but it was worth the wait. We didn’t like being so close to the road though.We couldn’t get the window to close properly so that it made it noisier once the traffic started in the morning.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable one night stay at The Renishaw Hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in early and helped us with booking a taxi. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant.

Had a nice stay. Staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was lovely and food amazing. Room was big and comfortable, was a musty and damp smell and bathroom could have done with a deeper clean. Small hairs on sink and dusty in fan. On a main road and traffic was load and busy. But not hotel fault.

Great spot

The accommodation was great but a little remote. Would have loved to try out the restaurant but closed on Monday and Tuesday they have a cafe just next door which serve great breakfast and sandwiches of all varieties. Looks like they are creating a new garden area which will be a great addition. Overall I would defiantly stay again when everything was up and running and sample the food from the restaurant.

We had a good stay. The reception was very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast excellent and used local produce. It was clean and comfortable but there was some road noise as we were at the front of the hotel.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't stay here again. The staff were great and the room itself was ok. I was in room 5, right above the kitchen. It also came with all of the noises and smells of the kitchen. The kitchen staff eventually stopped their clean up around 11.30pm. Nothing that can be done about that but sudden bangs kept me awake until they stopped. The window was covered on the outside with a greasy residue from the kitchen extractor fan which was directly below. Really not pleasant. Perhaps other rooms are better.

Great, well decorated and well stocked clean and tidy rooms. Easy check-in and staff were very friendly and accommodating for an early check-in. Would definitely use again.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The onsite restaurant was lovely and relaxing, with excellent food. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at the Renishaw was a delightful experience, we would definitely stay again if we return to the area. The room was lovely and recently renovated including the bathroom and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough to make your stay exceptional. Thankyou all.

Good, but had to wait to check in as they were busy in the restaurant, not a massive problem just a bit annoying!

Noisy room, but clean and comfortable bed
