Excellent short stay. No hassle

I was given room 4, no toilet roll and the bathroom smelt really badly of urine. I told the bar man and he changed my room . One thing I noticed from both rooms that they are looking very tired and need renovating. For a £100 for a one night stay mid week I would expect far better. The bed was comfy though .I wouldn't stay again...

The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. I thoroughly recommend the Crown & Punchbowl when visiting Cambridge, especially as a half hourly bus service into Cambridge stops just across the road.

We stayed on Sunday evening and arrived to a warm and cosy atmosphere. Our room had every we needed. It was quiet and all we could hear was bird song. We had that evening in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The beef roast was amazing. We stayed for breakfast on Monday morning and the selection and quality was excellent. We had a lovely stay and would stsy again, thank you.

Excellent team who gave the impression that nothing would be too much effort. Comfortable and spacious room with en suite. Restaurant food was excellent, though they had run out of a few items

Nice room, helpful staff and good food.

The staff are exceptional! The room was clean. The shower wasn’t. There was mildew in every corner of the shower. It was disappointing since other than that area everything else looked clean. We had dinner in the Pub & the dessert I had, (Sticky Toffee Pudding), was amazing!

Lovely cosy room. Modern and clean. Needs a bit of TLC in some places. Comfy bed and quiet surroundings. 5mins drive from Milton P&R which is fab for accessing Cambridge.

Really good value rooms. Great food, fresh cooked breakfast and super service. Restaurant can be really busy.
