It’s misleading the size of the room. It’s really like 325 square feet instead of the 500+ advertised. The balcony should be noted as part of the square footage but is not.

The small details were what gave this resort an extra star: flowers, cold gardenia scented compresses at check-in, necklaces at check-out. Great location, smaller property so everything was close, beautiful grounds and pool, great foodb& drinks. Choice of beach vs over water villas. We loved it!

Beautiful resort. Highly recommend. Location is ideal for snorkeling and proximity to town.

This was such a great place! We had a garden bungalow room 304 and it was like a little private oasis! Would definite ly recommend this property to anyone going to Moorea!

Best place on Moorea. Very relaxing, gorgeous, great snorkeling right in front of the hotel, easy access to shopping, restaurants, grocery. Loved this place!

Very special stay. First time in an over-water bungalow. Snorkeling reasonable especially in the mornings when the fish were more active.

We enjoyed the personalized attention from all the staff, deliciously prepared food, the book shelf, and the pretty setting. The flower crown activity provided a setting to meet other friendly travellers. We loved the polynesian show and the cooking class.

It is a great location, with gorgeous point of views. Beautiful fishes. All the staff so nice and special shout out for Andy at the snorkeling!

This is a beautiful peaceful property with amazing staff. I had only one thing I was a bit disappointed about- the bed. If you like firm mattresses this is a good thing for you. Preferably I prefer a bed softer than a park bench. Make sure and take the 5 minute walk to a small set of local shops.

After spending a week sailing on our own in Polynesia, the Manava Resort was a welcomed and refreshing change of pace!

Great place to stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Rooms clean but dated. Pool area small, difficult to find somewhere to sit as people reserve their chairs with towels but disappear for hours.

They have a “duplex” where there is a second story with a king/2twins in the “upstairs” level so if you need a little separation, this is a great option. However, note that there is only one bathroom so whoever is sleeping upstairs needs to go downstairs to use the bathroom and that might not work for those who are older or have mobility issues since the stairs are quite steep. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The location is GREAT with a small shopping center a free minutes away by foot, including a small grocery store. The infinity pool was lovely. There is a fitness center but it’s just a couple of treadmills and ellipticals. The AC in our room was POWERFUL so don’t worry about the heat and humidity in Moorea; you will find reprieve in your room. The only negative was that the food at the bar restaurant sucked. Really, really bad. For instance, my meal came with “wok cooked fresh vegetables” but they were clearly from a bag of mixed frozen veggies heated up in the microwave - they were soggy, bland and overall gross so stay there, but I don’t recommend eating there. Ditto for the Hilton’s Rotui restaurant. Same gross reheated frozen vegetables and French fries. Eat at Ccok hotel’s restaurant or the Sofitel.

I loved that you could not hear roosters. I liked how the beaches were raked and kept tidy every day.
