The staff is what makes an average Marriot stay great. From the doorman to the housekeepers all were friendly and very helpful. The facility has long distances between the hotel and amenities. The rooms are average and dark, including the bathroom. Tried the Italian restaurant and waited over an hour for the main course. I would not come back.

The beach is rocky and has lots of growth. The pool is nice. The paths could use some extra lighting. The room towels were not high quality. There was no activity schedule. Concierge was not super friendly. Telephone never worked, even when we reported it, it didn’t get fixed. This made it difficult to request a cart on departure. Overall a nice property, comfortable room with extra attention to details this resort could be 5 star. I’d give it a solid 4 maybe 4.25.

Very bad experience anywhere in the beach in the hotel in the restaurant I wasn’t happy but poor Service that have many people to work in lunchtime. Take you 2 1/2 hour to eat taco fish.

Lack of staff. Power kept going out. Resort spread out with poor signage.

The location and facilities are good. Clean rooms, friendly staff, beautiful surrounding tropical nature and atmosphere. Great for snorkeling. Pools open 24/7. Lots of cool plants and wildlife directly onsite. One drawback is the very high pricing, it is quite expensive to do some extra activities like a boat trip or just to eat. There is an excellent Pizza place that delivers for reasonable cost to the lobby which mitigates this somewhat, but not a solution for every night. It is still overall good but I cannot attest a reasonable value for money ratio (hence only 4/5 rating).

We came home one afternoon after being on the Lady Lynsey for the day to find our hotel room ajar. No belongings were disturbed & I'm guessing maybe housekeeping didn't pull the door hard enough to latch it but I would expect less carelessness.

Staff were wonderful. We had a car and the valet service was a part of the stay, very pleasant valet staff. Loved swimming in at the beach in front of the hotel. One mile walking loop around property. Poolside service was awesome, again very friendly. Free cookies and drink samples came out a couple times. Loved having a balcony. Nespresso coffee makers in room and they provided coffee pods. Food was expensive, but that is st Thomas. We did a lot of exploring and honestly, we should have just spent all our time at the resort with maybe one or two planned excursions. Not sure if it was worth renting a car for.

The staff were good. Expected more from the Ritz. $900 in resort fees unacceptable.

It was nothing you expect from Ritz Carlton, not well maintained room, rocky beach, poor service, bad food in the restaurants, air conditioner was not working in some of the buildings! For the price you pay I don’t recommend this hotel

Pool is very nice with a great view. Service is average. Drinks are expensive and not much alcohol . People are very friendly at the resort and the staff

The seaside massage was spectacular and the view of the ocean while laying pool side is just breathtaking.

Room, staff, and amenities were amazing! We paid for the Club Lounge package and it was definitely worth it. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking to stay on St. Thomas.

Amazing resort, white glove service! Beautiful location!

Except for hilly terrain (I am 81) and walking everything was perfect. Golf cart rides by staff were great but needed to be supplemented.
