I usually stay here for work trips. I travel by myself and feel safe . This location is convent to restaurants and coffee shop. Reasonable prices.

I left an item in the room not even a courtesy call to let me know if my item was recovered. I approached the front desk twice, and the response was not satisfactory because I knew at that time. My item was not in my possession. Also on check-in dates another person was in the room sitting, and she said to me, I thought the room was vacant really this is unsatisfactory unsanitary and I had to put up with it on top of that losing my item as well will not be going back to that hotel

The restaurant's loud music played under our room all night, causing constant disturbance and preventing a peaceful night's sleep throughout our stay.

We’ve stayed at various hotels in STX, but King Christian Hotel is by the best stay; From the amazing views, to the convenience of being in the heart of the town. The room was so clean, cozy, and comfortable. We will ALWAYS stay here for future visits♥️

The hotel is located in a great place in St. Croix perfect walking distance to so many things and right on the boardwalk by the sea. The outside spaces of this hotel are also beautiful and were well cared for...that's where the beauty ended. The front desk staff was not generally friendly and there was a notable difference in customer care once they knew you booked online through a third party site. They put me in the smallest room above the coffee shop. Their were no blinds on the bathroom window. The sheets were not clean. There was no blanket or comforter for the bed and the AC blew directly down on the bed. The AC also was leaking and when it rained, dripped on the bed. I spoke to ladies at the desk about these things and they said they couldn't change my room since I booked thru Hotels.com. Their were also large trash bags and mops left every day of my stay in the walkway to my room. It seemed I was staying in a part of the hotel that was less cared for. I think the place does have lovely rooms that are recently renovated but if you want one of those don't book thru Hotels.com. Also, don't bother eating at the restaurant attached to the hotel. It was way overpriced and the food was terrible. Walk down to Shupes on the Boardwalk. Delicious and awesome servers!

Beautiful views and a beautiful hotel. Customer Service was good. The hotel is right in the town so there are plenty places to shop and go. It is clothes to hotel on the day which has a nice beach.

The location of the hotel was perfect. A variety of restaurants were available walking distance. Room decor was beautiful but the furniture was dusty and the sofa and the rattan rug had an old smell. A safe or locked box was not available. Staff were hospitable and efficient in their services. Housekeeping needs to do a better job, especially cleaning the tile floors.

Great location but my room this stay had 1 window without shades...facing the sunrise and to many roosters at 5 am.

I liked most that the property has an elevator, ample secure parking, easy access to the beach, great staff, and is within a short walking distance from everything we needed. I did not like that we could not sleep because of the loud music from the bar downstairs, well past midnight on a Tuesday. In addition, the hotel lobby presents a serious tripping hazard due to uneven floor, and an unusually high threshold at the entry doorway.

The location was really good. The cay beach was super cute and good for kids. The boardwalk has a lot of options for food. There was no hot water and we couldn’t get the lights on or balcony to go out. But it was super cute, very chill and relaxing. The 2bd 2ba suite was huge and we had more than enough space for a family of 5.

When we arrived, we were greeted at the front desk reception by Shaniqua who gave us a full explanation of the amenities and a few suggestions on places to eat and things to do. After which, we were offered a welcome beverage of our choice to enjoy in the adjacent Peacock room. The grounds were well maintained, clean, and well appointed. For someone’s first venture outside of the states, this was just perfect and I really cannot imagine a better experience than King Christian Boutique Hotel for our stay. I highly recommend the hotel. Only draw back, all the free roam chickens, which are not their fault. All in all a phenomenal experience for my wife and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Be AWARE and have your guard up. Our 1st night at approx 5 am an intruder opened our balcony door. I have no idea how my man's spidey senses went off but he jumped over me out of bed and to the balcony door. We were on the 2nd story the intruder and his buddy waiting on the ground below ran off. We called front desk security guard wasnt around came to the room 15 minutes later saying he checked and there was no one there....Of course, this all went down in under 2 minutes. Had to wait until morning requested a new room was given 2 similar options I said I would likea room where the balcony cannot be scaled. Had to wait until after 4 pm. Im not saying the hotel handled it wrong but it certainly wasnt handled right. Never spoke to management was never told they wpuld review cameras...NOTHING...to make it all worse we ran into a couple who heard the whole thing and reported it to the front desk bc they thought someone got murdered because of the loud thud...front desk brushed them off like it was nothing and no big deal and they had no idea....they were all aware of what happend..We dont have any idea what they wanted but im forever thankful to have an athletic man whose instincts kicked into over drive....i keep thinking what if it were a woman traveling alone....the balcony door lock did not work appropriately and no one ever had the decency to speak with us about the incident, look into it, or even act like guest safety was their top priority. Staff rude except housek
