The hotel was amazing, the service was top notch.

Breakfast was plentiful and good. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was small. The shower super tight and the vanity super low. The hotel is a bit dated but they keep it clean and comfortable. The restaurant was decent with friendly service.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Only hotel that we found that offered an airport shuttle. Excellent hotel and great value!

Lotsa was very very helpful. It was our 47th anniversary and Lutaa and Ogda were very helpful in making it a pleasant occasion. Also miss Bambi in the dining room was very pleasant and helpful. The food was okay but could use some improvement to be up to the kempinski intl five star standard.

Excellent service, and communication.We asked for transportation for our late flight into UB and were promptly serviced with a friendly driver from the hotel who was waiting for us. Very friendly and professional staff, always ready to assist and provide info on places. The spa is great with a wonderful masseuse and we used it twice, would have used it more if we had time, great price and service. Breakfast is also good and convenient, and the small coffee shop also has a breakfast option. Location wise, it's about 20-30 min walking to the center, museums, etc. Excellent service overall and would definitely stay again.

Easy check in. Friendly and welcoming reception staff. Spacious twin room, tea/coffee in the room with extras supplied when requested. Bath and shower in bathroom and a loo that did everything but cook the dinner! Good quality bed linen and great comfy pillows. Negative - flex not long enough for the hair dryer to see into a mirror. Needs addressing. Did not eat there but had a take away breakfast from the coffee shop. Presented in a box and was lovely. Near plenty of shops and restaurants. Walkable to key sights. Easy for guides to pick up from.

A home away from home in Ulanbaatar. First, kudos to the wonderful staff. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I was welcomed warmly (and by name) often. The front desk set me up with a great driver and guide for a day outside the city at a very reasonable price. Service at breakfast was incredible. Even though it is a buffet, they still check on you frequently and bring you special juice blends and other treats. Food at the restaurants is very good overall. My room was large and comfortable. I had to do some work while I was there, and WiFi worked fast and well. Great bathroom. Loved the Japanese toilet. I probably should give five stars, but I didn't love the pillows. Also, the location, on the eastern edge of the rectangle that defines the City Center means the hotel is a little bit far from some of the attractions. UB is a very walkable city, but the hotel's location adds about 30 (mostly easy) minutes each way to every exploration. Overall, though, I was super happy with the Kempinski. They work hard to make you happy, and I was happy.

Favourite hotel in Ulaanbaatar. We will be back again!

The staff was excellent, friendly, and attentive. The food was excellent; comfortable accommodations, convenient location, and a useful exercise area.

Very nice hotel, showing it's age a bit, but very large, spacious rooms and great service. Water pressure in the showers was good too.
