The staff went out of their way to help. The restaurant was the best food in Cuenca and very inexpensive.

The staff were great. The property is well maintained. We stayed in the efficiency rooms and not the more charming rooms in the main building, but it was nice to have the extra room and kitchenette. It was reasonably priced and a convenient place from which to explore Quito.

Great beautiful rooms

Beautiful boutique hotel in central Cuenca. I love the decorations and the staff was helpful and kind. Very clean. Comfortable mattress. Breakfast is good. My only recommendation is for light sleepers. If that is you, bring some kind of white noise machine or fan. The walls are somewhat thin and the street noice can reverberate. I have such a machine (small one) that I carry when I travel and ear plugs. I needed both and those were sufficient for me to get some sleep.

Los Balcones is a beautiful colonial mansion turned boutique hotel. What a wonderful find in downtown Cuenca.

Los Balcones is a great place to stay while traveling in Cuenca - location is perfect & staff are friendly. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment & found it to be very comfortable during our 5 nights

Beautiful, rustic hotel that is conveniently located from Parque Calderon (5 min walk). Staff was very professional and helpful. Breakfast included fresh fruit, daily made fruit juice.
