Beautiful, safe, private beach.

When booking your room don’t book a room with just breakfast. We did & when we went to upgrade to half board we got no discount for already having breakfast included in our room.

From being welcomed at the hotel to the final check out the staff were so friendly and went that little bit extra to make sure our stay was an amazing one. The choice of food and drinks were great and we were able to book the speciality restaurants with ease. Pools were great along with the choice of water sports that were included. We would like to say a big thank you to Angele who did a great job in looking after us in the Nirvana part of the hotel and Sheila who kept our room spotlessly clean. Also Klea who made sure we always had a drink in Latitude and Owen who worked at the bar there and also in Jade with his drink recommendations. Bayo also made sure we had food and drinks around the main pool. So a big thank you to these and all others that made our stay as special as it was. Hoping to return in the future.

Great restaurants, rooms are large, bed is excellent, beach is not amazing but hotel location is very convenient to travel to other beaches.

Property in perfect conditions, excellent facilities and super friendly and efficient staff. I was there during a typhoon level 3 alert. The airport was closed and a lot of clients got struck. The front desk, concierge and guest relations were simply amazing! The management did huge efforts to minimize clients’ discomfort. Amazing!

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing beech holiday

Positives : Good size room with lovely view, quiet, pretty garden, well maintained, good food, especially the Wave restaurant. Not quite a 5 star hotel, but ok. The staff helppat the front desk far from 5 star standard, more reminiscent of a second rate guest house We’ve booked a boat trip on the other side of the island through the concierge(Jimmy) thinking that even though taxi was far more expensive, at least it would be turn up on time. Wrong! Taxi was 30 minutes late, it took a lot of discussions, a phone call to find the taxi. Later the driver told us that he waited outside! Surely it should have occurred to him to come to reception to find us! The taxi was not the very clean and driver was very bad : he was very slow, constantly drifted over the middle line, occasionally having to swerve to miss oncoming vehicles, even managed to get lost . The boat trip was not exactly what we were told either, I would not recommend it. We also made the mistake of agreeing to hire a car through the concierge (same one, Jimmy). It was a bit pricey, but we were told that we’ll have a brand new car and no card transaction fees. On the morning of our departure we were brought a 2019 plate Kia picanto, dirty and covered in scratches. As we were leaving the hotel we eventually no choice but to accept the car. Someone was supposed to meat us at the airport to collect the car 5 days later, and, of course, they didn’t! When we called them from airport they argued that we were a day early!

We recently stayed at Le Méridien for our honeymoon, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. The moment we walked into the resort, we were greeted with a breathtaking ocean view from the reception area, an absolutely stunning way to start our stay. The resort itself is meticulously clean and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. The all-inclusive package is a must; it allowed us to relax completely without worrying about additional expenses. The location is also ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions. One of the highlights of our trip was renting the jetty for a private dinner. The food prepared by the private chef was simply incredible, but what truly made the evening special was the outstanding service from our two private waiters. They were not only attentive and professional but also willing to capture special moments for us, taking beautiful photos that we’ll cherish forever. The spa was another high point of our visit, with excellent service that left us feeling completely rejuvenated. While the overall experience was fantastic, we did notice that poolside service could be a bit slow during the day. Additionally, while some staff members were phenomenal, going above and beyond to make our honeymoon special, others were a bit less attentive. Overall, Le Méridien was an incredible choice for our honeymoon.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the most perfect trip! Our first all inclusive experience and we were truly spoilt…every single staff member was friendly and attentive, our room was amazing with the sea view, the different dining options around the resort were delicious and there was so much choice! Also loved the day, sunset and evening programme of activities that the hotel had on everyday There was so much space and different areas of the hotel so plenty to fill your days It was nice perfect relaxing trip we needed after our wedding I will definitely stay here again when I return to Mauritius!

The hotel is perfect, with 5 star restaurants. The staff could not be any more helpful and friendly. It was ana amazing stay. The beach surrounding the hotel is beautiful, the sea you must wear swim shoes. Would return again and again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the hotel, service and facilities were exceptional. Just a slight shame it’s in a very remote area.

Lovely hotel and location, can’t say a bad word about the experience we had there. The building, the scenery and the water were all really nice. The only downside for us was the value for money. For the money you pay, I would expect more to do in the resort and far less supplementary costs. We came here on our honeymoon looking for a luxury once in a lifetime type experience and the amount of things that were additional costs on the menus and the general price of things (including the alcohol) was too high and put us off really relaxing and treating ourselves. I would have spent far more if I felt I was getting better value. Engaging evening entertainment was lacking, whilst the artists that were on were amazing they were all very relaxation mode and on an evening left us with not much to do, so each night we just went back to the room after food. The staff were brilliant and attentive, the rooms were nice and the food was good but I don’t think I would stay here again, there was nothing special beyond the beautiful Mauritian scenery.

Short business trip booked and short notice (night before). Excellent responsiveness to health requirements accommodated within the short period. Experience was positive enough to inspire me to consider returning for a vacation.
