Things about the property that we liked: the beaches were beautiful and up-kept well by the staff (clearing any Sea grass daily). The “party scene” was 10am-6pm, and was quiet after 6. There were some free amenities like guided kayaking, guided biking, paddle boarding and scuba gear for diving that were nice to have available. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with options- probably the biggest selection we have seen from a buffet. The dining options were amazing (with that said they did not execute the food as well as expected so would still rate the food 3/5 with 30% of the food being really good and 70% of it not as good as expected.)
Some things we didn’t like: if you expect that you’ve paid for all inclusive and don’t want to tip - you get treated a bit different from some of the staff.
Our first night as lobster house we were seated and ignored for 45 min until we said something.
A few staff members felt like they were double checking our name and room number consistently through the week. Not telling us why so we were left to feel like we were doing something wrong.
The tub in the room very clearly hasn’t been used (or professionally cleaned) in a long time as rust came out of the pipes. Also lack of info on Expedia and as well at the resort. Staff gave us wrong info about restaurants and amenities only for us to be rudely corrected by different staff when we mentioned what we were originally told.
