There was a lot of tissue in the toilet, probably not flushed yet... There was still hair from the previous guest on the bed, Wi-Fi was really hard to connect to the device, and YouTube couldn't be played, browsers, etc.... Until check-out, there was no solution... There were several nearby shopping places, nearby food places, and also nearby Starbucks...

The rooms and service are good, input for the fitness center, please add dumbbells, why only 5 kg ones?

In Makassar, I've stayed in Aryaduta & Four Points (within the same price range) and Mercure is definitely far better. It's an OK hotel; not amazing. But you get a room space & design that are more than worth it. I like the complete amenities, the comfort of the bed, the working desks, etc. but since my room is in the corner, traffic noise is very bad. Not an issue for me but may be an issue for some. If you dislike police & ambulance noises, request a room not located in the corner. The lobby & breakfast area is gloomy. Makassar's hotel guests are rowdy - cigarette burn stains even in non-smoking rooms, corridors sometimes cramped with personal belongings, and the breakfast area is chaotic. But the hotel does what it can. All in all, probably one of the best below-1-million hotel rooms in the city.

The hotel location is strategic, the atmosphere is comfortable, the price is in accordance with the facilities.

The hotel staff and security are very friendly in welcoming guests, the parking is spacious, the rooms are also clean and the water is also clean.

Asked for a non-smoking room but got a smoking room, the whole floor smelled of cigarettes.

The hotel staff was friendly and access was excellent. The only remaining smoking room had a very strong cigarette odor, which persisted despite the ozone treatment.

I love the exterior design, especially the interior of the room.. I really like it.
