Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. What made the experience especially frustrating was the clear sense that ownership simply does not care about maintaining a clean, comfortable, or functional environment for guests.
As many other reviewers mentioned, my room felt grimy and greasy. Nearly every surface felt dirty to the touch, and the overall condition of the room made it difficult to relax.
The Wi-Fi was so slow it was essentially unusable. I had to work from a coffee shop across the street because basic webpages and emails wouldn’t load. In 2026, a hotel effectively having no working internet is unacceptable.
The walls are paper-thin, so you can hear conversations, partying, and noise from adjacent rooms as if people were inside your own room.
The worst moment came on my first day when I grabbed a towel after showering and discovered a large stain that appeared to be blood and/or feces. Completely unacceptable.
The underlying issue is that the owners either do not care about their guests’ experience, or they are incapable of maintaining the property to basic hospitality standards.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel until major improvements are made. The condition of the property was concerning enough that I genuinely think the City of Toronto should inspect it for potential health and safety violations.
