The best hosts ever. Like coming home to stay with family. Chris and Steak are amazing people.

Very quiet, away from the bustle of the city. Lovely setting with farm land all around. Large room, comfortable bed. Great place to sit, read, think.

Loved it, beautiful place. My only complaint/ rather suggestion would be to put locks on the bathroom and toilet doors, change the doorknobs- as very difficult to open bedroom door (double bed room). The shared toilet door needs planing or sanding down at the top, as sticks greatly causing both my partner and I to get trapped in the toilet!

Great to visit part of the country that I grew up as a kid. The property was a beautiful setting in the countryside, great to hear birds from my childhood. Nice garden walk and view of the sea and horizon, the huge volcanic bolders scattered throughout the paddocks. Very friendly and easy to connect to the hosts Christine and Steak, a great family feeling about the property. Room and facilities nicely furnished and relaxing place. Overall an excellent place to relax, appreciate, and enjoy the countryside lifestyle.

Gorgeous house & great location with gardens all around & view of the sea. Hosts are so friendly / couldn’t ask for more.
