Friendly staff Clean, comfortable room

It is a nice, new hotel.

I come in to town once a month and i choose a different hotel sometimes just to see which one ill like better. This one was just mid. Parking was a little tricky for a box truck, staff was friendly. The room waa clean. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would like. Felt flat. The room was small compared to other king rooms. Lighting was dim even with all the lights. Room was more modern style. The shower though, had great water pressure and the hot water was perfect. Small bathroom but shower was a nice size. A little stingy on the towels but it was just for one so ok, maybe ya'll put out more depending on guest. Over all just ok. I doubt if I stay here again. I didn't see any coffee maker in the room but was available in the lobby. I'll keep searching till i find the perfect one to stay at every month.

I like the overall look of the property, lobby and rooms. My biggest complaint is the walls seem rather thin. I could hear man next door sneeze and lots of noises throughout the late night hours. More insulation would be nice.

I just love staying there so much. The staff is amazing. The hotel is super clean. I feel very safe and it’s just right there. Everything’s around you definitely my go to place.

Safe & clean

Stayed three nights. It is a trendy fun college dorm mindfulness experience. Games to play with family or visiting guest! So, fun and chic! Dorm furniture in hotel room to the pillows, mattress & bed style. Not as comfy. Bath & drying Towels a bit harsh, but hot shower water was divine. Water pressure for the commode flushing an issue due to lack of [water pressure] from the City of Long View; aspect of it. I did have some concerns during my stay. Gym room is smaller size but serves its purpose. Had to ask for gym towels, and hand sanitizer. Cleanliness is a key in hotel hygiene of wiping down daily especially in gym, hotel rooms and breakfast table areas. Breakfast is served daily. I was hoping for yogurt, or waffles but loved the oatmeal, and eggs with chicken sausage- upon a request. Along with the toast and bread choices, fruit, cereal, milk and juices. Staff were friendly and assertive. Breakfast food handlers very polite and professionals hardworking ladies setting up breakfast daily. If you’re looking for a University / College experience this is a great hotel in Long View, Texas. Smoking outside is not separated; as you sit outdoors meaning no designated smoking area. Upgrade in outdoor sitting area needed. I did have a few work maintenance request per my stay which housekeeping and maintenance both were attentive and professional. Great area in the heart of Long View with its many stores for shopping and dinning. Enjoyed my stay here overall for a great price!

Once again, Tru came through as an excellent place to stay while traveling. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel and room was clean. The snack and breakfast choices were awesome!

Very nice hotel and excellent staff.

We have stayed at Tru hotels throughout our cross country travels for years. In fact, we purposely stayed in certain towns because a Tru Hotel was there. We liked that they were reasonably priced and eco- conscious. Over the last year we've noticed a few changes that have made us very dissappinted in the brand and so, we decided to no longer stay at any Tru hotel. Their prices have seemed to significantly increase; breakfast quality has seemed to decrease; and it seems that pets are now priority over people. I have pet allergies and apparently there are no rooms reserved as "pet only". Animals can be in any room, dander and all, even with "deep cleaning" allergens may still be present. I don't understand why there can't be "pet only" rooms or entire floors just for pets. It is unfortunate that corporate has taken this policy to allow pets anywhere and that our once favorite place to stay is no longer on the "list".

Hotel was really nice and staff was friendly and attentive. But the pool was closed, pump problem they said. But thats ok...

What’s important, that I have no issues, I have no issues

It’s located right next to an extremely busy highway and the noise is loud in the room.

Very nice and new, it was a pleasure to stay there. There were shopping and several restaurants within walking distance

Wow, what an amazing Hotel, the staff was amazing and the property was very clean , I will definitely stay again.

Great atmosphere

The front desk lady was not in a good mood when checking in. When I got to the room I realized there was no toilet paper. I phoned the front desk and the same lady said I could come get it at the front desk. Also, my room wasn’t very clean. There was hair in the sink like a man had shaved his short beard, a penny on the floor and the bed looked like someone laid on top after being made. There was only one large bath towel with several wash cloths and hand towels. Breakfast was good and the ladies working it were kind.

Great hotel! Super easy checkin, local to the area for the venue & lots of food around town!

Ac does not work, the room was extremely hot

The rooms do not have a microwave or any kind of a coffee maker. It’s pretty inconvenient.
