Nice place and nice surroundings. Well positioned for the south east corner of Cornwall. It's not often you go away these days to a self catering cottage and don't get a welcome pack. Even if it's just a pint of milk. But not here. Also, free access to Wi-Fi is now pretty standard, but again not here. A couple of small things that could have made it perfect.

we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. Would come again definately.

A fantastic place to stay, beautiful grounds in which the holiday accommodation is set in, and so peaceful and quiet. The location is fairly central too, so easy access to all parts of the county. We will definitely come back.

We had a simply wonderful short stay at Rosecraddoc Manor. Exceptionally tidy. The proprietors stuck to very tight COVID rules, that was very re-assuming. A beautiful oasis of a place to stay, with a waterfall and a lake. All too good to be true. Highly recommended .

The property was nice and ok for its money. Make sure you read the terms and conditions though as we were charged £15 for WiFi and £10 for electric (which is far more than indicated in the terms (we stayed for 2 nights). The property was cold, although old so somewhat to be expected. My real grind was that as we were tidying up in the morning of departure, my partner was tidying my car out and a member of staff walked to the front door and stated ‘you better have left it tidy in there’. I thought this was rude and uncalled for, I do wonder if it was due to our young age it was assumed it would be left untidy. We also had an issue in relation to wasps in the property. We were provided with only one toilet roll for two nights stay. The log fire was very nice and the bed was comfortable enough.

This is an amazing property and I highly recommend it. We would love to go back. The kids had a wonderful time fishing and caught plenty of fish. Beautiful surroundings.

The drive upto the manor house is impressive and the groinds are stunning. Really liked the apartment. We stayed in Natalie Jane. Plenty big enough and with all the utensils you need, the only thing's i dodnt like was the bathroom, brown suite and a bit gloomy. But personal choice and didnt impact

Peaceful cottage set in fabulous grounds, perfect for a chill. No local shops or amenities so car is essential. Beds and pillows uncomfortable but overall excellent base.

Absolutely fabulous buildings, beautifully decorated & well maintained. We had a problem with the shower which was fixed very quickly. The grounds are breathtaking - with a lake and waterfalls. Look forward to returning & would love to return to the "Stable' with it's fabulous round bedroom.

The property was spacious and located near to a good train link. However it was very poorly equipped, very basic kitchen equipment, no oven gloves, no salt in the dishwasher, no dishwasher tabs, DVD player but no DVDs, no heating in the spare room, the showerhead in second didn't work, no hair dryer. It felt very unwelcoming, clearly the owners didn't want contact, as not welcomed in or checked out. There was no welcome tea/coffee, milk biscuits. I felt that would be standard. So arrived after 9 hours drive to no refreshments.

This was our second stay at Rose Craddoc. A beautiful place set in stunning grounds and woodland. Very helpful staff allowed us to check in early. Lovely large period apartment within the main house with great views over the lake. Would recommend staying here to anyone!!

Lovely location in a nice, peaceful setting yet near to town. Accommodation very reasonably priced and was spotless apart from the sofa which looked very grubby and uninviting(!) - we had to put a blanket over before we would even sit on it. Musty smell to the property generally but then it was just after lockdown so would have been empty a while. Was fine once heating on for a bit. Overall for what we paid we can’t complain.
