Enjoyed our stay very much! We were 2 people & our Boston Terrier dog. The place was VERY clean, comfortable and smelled so good. Even though we brought our own towels and extra kitchen stuff, it was well stocked with everything needed if we hadn't brought extras. Towels, blankets, herbs n spices, dishes, cups, tea, mugs, plates, utensils and the most important * perk coffee maker* toiletries etc... I was very impressed at how dog friendly it was. Great view from the balcony to the park across the street. To the right a city view and CN tower. Beautiful at night. Really enjoyed sitting out on the big balcony engoying the scenery and relaxing. So many people walking dogs and fun for my dog to make friends on our walks and in and around the area. The lobby even has a poop bag dispenser! You'd never be able to tell dogs had been in the building. Everywhere, lobby, halls, elevator, apartment were so clean. Welcoming and friendly front desk staff. Unfortunatly the hot tub wasn't working during our stay, but the gym & pool area were very nice. I'd definitly stay at the Fort York Suites again! Although check in was easy, I would have rather had the room key & garage fob accessed at the same pick up point in the lobby entrance. Had to get the room key, head up to the room to get the garage fob, then back down to the car. Thankfully no issues with parking in front while I did so. Same for returning the fob, had to head back up before room key return in lobby box.

We loved this stay!! I was a bit upset with the check in process at first, but it was my own fault. If you are booking here, they will send out a form to fill out prior to check in. Unfortunately I didn't see them, but once I contacted the host it was smooth sailing and they were very responsive. The place itself was perfect and had everything we needed. The location was not far from most attractions downtown, about an 18 minute walk. There are also stores nearby for groceries which was super nice. There is also an onsite playground where my LO loved to play. The pool was wonderful!! We basically had it to ourselves. The hot tub was lackluster but we didn't go for that so didn't affect our stay. All in all, I highly recommend!

The check in procedure was terrible as the communication with the property management company was at times non existent. We asked for a late check out and were told we’d get an email whether approved or not. No email came. The apartment was extremely small equipped with a Murphy bed. The temperature was difficult to regulate and it wasn’t even summer yet. Good luck to whoever stays there in July.

Overall, this was an excellent accomodation; however, my major complaint was the parking. I was lead to believe that there would be onsite parking available and I thought it was included in the price. When I received the check-in information I was advised to contact to reserve my parking space and it was not included. When I contacted GlobalStays to reserve my parking space at the property, I was advised that all the parking was full. This was very disappointing as I had to drive the streets of Toronto at 9pm on check-in night to find over-night parking. The cost for 3 days at an alternate location was $160 and I had a 10 minute walk to get back to the condo unit. It appeared from the parking garage below the condo that there were ample spots available. For future reservations this should be made clear in the advertising. And caution to others - if you need to park your vehicle, call them as soon as possible to reserve your spot and know that it is not guaranteed and you need to pay for it! The condo unit itself was clean and nice. We used the swimming pool, hot tub and gym and these were also clean and well maintained. Other than parking, this was an excellent accomodation.

Hot tub was luke warm and the jets didn't work. We had trouble with getting in as it was supposed to be in a lock box, but it wasn't.

You don’t automatically get a parking spot when you reserve a unit. I had to book my own parking offsite. I had some issues, only straight hot water twice, curtain rod falling on my head. I had to contact them many times by message and phone before I got any response. They thought I should be able to wait another day to be able to use the shower since there was only straight hot water. They then said it was a building issue so not their fault or problem.

The hot tub was broken for the first couple of days but it was up and running for the remainder of our trip. The pool was great. It was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

This was a great stay! I love how we had a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms, instead of staying at a hotel I was able to bring food to save money. Great location, clean and it had everything we needed. We would definitely book again.

The check in was terrible. The apartment was in need of a serious renovation. The building facilities were good.

Pool was bigger than expected and nice. Workout/gym facilities were great as well and more extensive than expected. Hot Tub was closed half the time due to PH levels being off. Room was what we expected. It needed a better deep clean and few things were banged up in it (Fan not working in bathroom, one pan broken, one stool in kitchen had a leg broken) but was fine for most part. Bed mattresses were definitely dated and they could use newer ones. Otherwise location was fantastic being a 18 min walk to key places downtown like Rogers Centre and CN Tower. Really nice park on the water across the street as well.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Toronto. The room itself was average at best for the price you typically pay in the city, but our biggest issue came after checkout. We have been charged for a supposed stain on the comforter that the property claims we caused and that they say cannot be removed. We spent very little time in the room during our stay and left everything clean and in good condition, so this charge was extremely disappointing and frustrating to receive after the fact. It has left a very negative impression of the property and the way situations like this are handled. Because of this experience, we will not be staying here again. It’s unfortunate, as a simple two-night stay turned into an unnecessary and disappointing situation.

Great appartement and perfect location 1km away from downtown But poor communication , I sent numerous messages and never got a reply , especially about the expensive cleaning fee deposit that they charge after you make the booking, obligation to pay it via PayPal or else no check-in info and it took 7 days to get it refunded. But absolutely no replies to the emails asking about the refund. I was refunded though. That's why I have 4/5. But they need to hire 1 person to answer messages.

Amazing stay

Booked this spot for a few reasons. A- wanted somethings where stores were within walking distance and there was options for sure. But there was dog waste all over the streets so not easy to walk. B- booked the spot for the hot tub and when i got there and it was broken which it would have been great if i was told. C- was asked more then once for my license number which i gave for parking then in the morning i had a $76 parking ticket which the b and b company didnt help me with anything. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BOOK WITH ANY PROPERTY FROM GLOBAL STAY INC. Why ask for my car information then not register it with the front desk. Terrible

The place is getting a bit tired and could use a really good painting. Other than the company bothering me for a damage deposit everything went really well. The Internet can be a bit of a challenge, but once I figured it out, it was fine.

Going through Expedia it specifically states to not click links that take you to make outside payment and when it came to giving a down payment was exactly that. A link that was masked by Expedia’s messaging system which I had to go to support to find out if it was legitimate and if I should use it. Then when I got there the communication for parking was very convoluted and I had to call 3 times to get the appropriate code and it took over an hour to resolve. Otherwise the space was clean, and suited my needs.

During the stay there the heater is kinda okay. After our stay they emailed us that they will not return the deposit because of the stain in the blanket. I asked which bed was it because we brought our own linens for personal reasons. And asked what kind if stain was it because the picture they attached to the email looks lime just water. They did not answer my email. Do not appreciated it
