The food was excellent , and the RIU Resort tropical Bay was an excellent Stay. There were many activities which the staff and everyone was so polite. I will be coming again sometime next year.

My second time in Jamaica and this was my favorite hotel so far! Great staff great food overall 10/10

The Beach.

This is my second time staying at this property, and it never fails. The staff are some of the most amazing people. Judith who is so very wonderful. She even remembered us from our trip two years ago. She provided the best drink service on the beach. Shanese who always made sure our room stayed clean, and boy did shane and Powell show us great service at the buffet. These people certainly deserve a raise, and to be praised. Thank them for me for all they do. I hope theybare there when we return. Best place ever!

Staff made our stay exceptional

The staff at this resort were AMAZING! Good was what you would expect, but had a huge variety. Our room did have a moisture/mold problem but we were rarely in the room so we made it work. Room service were cleaning your room everyday and sometimes even twice a day, so you always came back to a clean room. Definitely recommend having enough cash on hand, as there’s no ATM on property. Remember to support the locals on the beach and purchase souvenirs from them!

There were roaches everywhere! I stayed on the second floor and had to kill 4 roaches inside my room. Also when walking around I kept seeing them run up walls and going into other rooms. Other than that the views were amazing and the property itself was nice.

Returned for the second time and unfortunately it’s not the same. Strict restaurant restrictions. Only got to visit one restaurant during our week stay. Also some of the staff members were rude. I asked for a paper napkin and he told me he didn’t have any. I asked him if he can take it from the empty table next to me and he said the napkin was accounted for. Also asked for a bottle of water for the baby and he said he didn’t have any. I would have to get it during room service.

Great amenities great value Beautiful upgrades to the interior as i have been here a few times before CoVID Staff were very pleasant and welcoming Only complaint was toilet backing up but was attended to promptly when front desk was notified. Overall great experience and I will return and refer to others

Great swim up bar staff! Great pools and beach!

We had a wonderful stay. The property is on a perfect part of bloody bay. Can't beat the sunsets and the bay is very calm. The property is clean however the lack of elevators caused a lot of problems for me and my partner. Please put in elevators. Also the 24 hour lounge is just blah. The food is mediocre at best. Always old and dried out food. Wish we had a sports bar like on the sister resort. I also wish there were better options for room service menu. The food is so limited. Why not provide burgers and fries and some pasta dishes. Warm dishes for your guest who are feeling unwell or exhausted from climbing 3 flights of stairs in a very humid environment. I think adding a club option would help to provide more options for those who want more luxury. Aside from that we had a great time. And if we see some improvements we will be back in a heartbeat.

This property was very well taken care of. The rooms were cleaned every day. The staff was wonderful from the house keeping to the security, they were all very friendly and courteous. The beach was exceptionally beautiful. We enjoyed it everyday. The food was great with a great variety. Never boring. We ate mostly at the buffet.

Toilet in the room clogs up constantly

From the moment we arrived, everything felt like a dream. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel like family. Our room was spotless, stylish, and had a breathtaking view of the garden —waking up to that every morning was pure magic. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and served with care. We especially loved the local dishes and tropical cocktails by the pool. Whether we were lounging on the beach, enjoying live music, or just soaking in the sunset, every moment was unforgettable. This hotel made our Jamaican getaway truly special, and we can't wait to come back
