Not a bad place to stay, but it’s far from the Center (plateau). But pretty comfy. And the breakfast is really good!

Generally inviting and pleasant hotel, with free breakfast served in-room. Located a bit of a ways from the center, though. Friendly staff but they watch that check-out time like their life depends on it. Overall, I’d be back.

The place wa quite ok, but international food to eat was very difficult to get. Wish to compliment the working staff of detente hotel.

Good place to stay. I stayed four nights from 8/10 through 8/14,2023 .Pleasant staff,The food was good. Great room services. The breakfast is serve every morning in your room .

Located in Yopougon, which is a 25 minute taxi from the city. The area around the hotel is authentic in the sense of there being no tourist activities. The staff at just great! and the room was clean and comfortable with reliable AC. There were some ants in the room and they did charge me a half day's rate for my late check out (5pm).

Food made anyway you like it, they can adjust to vegetarians but you have to be specific

Detente hotel had very friendly staff. They did, however, overbook the hotel and we had to stay in another, really terrible, location for one night of our stay

Standard double bet single use Room was lovely and comfortable, but a bit small. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Neighborhood not so great and a bit far from areas of interest, but taxi not very expensive. Hotel to administrative district of Plateau reasonable 2500cfa. Hotel to airport a bit expensive 15,000cfa. Wifi connectivity in my room and in the lovely courtyard was not not good, I don't know for other rooms. The value for money is best in Abidjan though. I will recommend this hotel and I will be willing to stay there again next time I travel to Abidjan

Detente hotel is a hidden gem of a hotel. The rooms and bathroom are finished to a high standard, the front desk staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, with some English spoken. Good selection for breakfast and served in room. Cosby little bar in the quadrangle. All in all, very pleasant stay. It is around 30 plateau, but easy to get taxi from hotel. Not in the best of areas of Abidjan, but worth a visit. I would certainly return for another stay. Internet worked well also.
