Excellent location for exploring the city with easy access to shops and restaurants, while feeling safe the whole time. Breakfast is exceptional and the staff friendly and super efficient - they really make the stay feel good. In terms of hotel design - it's a little 'style over function' with our room (Deluxe Double - with the round bed!) having no storage in the room for clothes and no shelf etc. in the bathroom for toiletries. It just means the stay was messy and we had to live out of our suitcases (I really dislike doing this!). The whole hotel is tiled too - fair enough - but it did mean that people coming in at 2am upstairs could be heard walking/talking an moving around. Overall - good hotel - the staff and breakfast make it so I still recommend it. If you're a light sleeper or travelling with lots of luggage, perhaps be careful. Final remark - we drove into the city. Don't use the carpark next to the hotel - it's crazy expensive and nothing to do with the hotel (there are signs everywhere stating this and that they have not liability - makes me think there may have been problems in the past). Instead, use Parcheggio Piazza Meda - the exit is right opposite the hotel and it cost us less than 50% of the other one.

The main elevator was very small. So if others were already inside, it would skip your floor. And the indicator lights next to call button (supposedly showing the current location of the elevator) was not synced with the indicator at top of the door. It often took several minutes to finally be able to enter the elevator. Also, the TV in my room only had 2 English language stations (CNN and BBC News. And for the last 3 days of my 7 nights stay, the CNN was not accessible- the sound and screen were either scrambled or not present at all.

Great location with a great staff. Rooms where spacious for Europe, clean and updated.

Clean room, nice staff and great location

Hotel Duomo was in a perfect location within walking distance from shops and restaurants. The hotel was air conditioned. The breakfast buffet was great.

The location of the hotel is convenient, but it is hidden under an overhang next to a parking garage. There is essentially no lobby. It was a strange at first. The rooms were very nice. They provide a glass water bottle upon arrival and offer “free refills,” however they expect you to refill it yourself from a sink on the 6th floor.

A hidden gem near the Duomo! Excellent location and I could not have asked for a better place to be in for the center of Milan. Can get to the Duomo in five minutes, and to other central locations quickly. Near a Metro (the Duomo) so can also get to areas quickly. The staff was helpful. The lobby is very small, and jut a desk to check in to and some seats. But not asking for much for the lobby needs. The room (was a junior room suite) was nice and spacious and had nice air conditioning, especially needed for the heat dome! Always ask for extra bottled water that is offered free. Breakfast was good, but not a huge choice of items as seen in bigger hotel chains. But the staff in the dining room is very nice and helpful! I would stay again because of location and the cleanliness and staff hospitality.
