Great location and a cool aesthetic. Rooms were pleasant and clean. Service at all three restaurants was quite slow.

Funky vibrant hotel. All amenities but the best bit? Came with LPs and a record deck to play them in your room! If the LPs are not to your taste you can change them at reception or buy them also! Perfect! Highly recommended.

The Ace Hotel in Kyoto was superb - it was a beautiful property, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the location was convenient for exploring the city and the service was impeccable. We ate in two of the three restaurants and had fantastic meals in each. Great cocktails in the bar too! We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Ace Hotel Kyoto! It was a great location & very walkable to nishiki market and other shopping areas but still in a quiet neighborhood to come home to after a long day of exploring. My only critique is I wish they had 1 firmer pillow & 1 soft pillow like some of the other hotels we stayed at during our stay in Japan. The pillows were a bit too soft for our liking but was not a deal breaker. Lovely hotel & great staff, we'd definitely stay there again!

Incredible stay at the Ace Hotel in Kyoto. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel was within walking distance to literally hundreds of shops and eateries. The room/bathroom were surprisingly large (we were a family of 4) and were all incredibly comfortable during our stay. Lots of closet space and all the amenities you could need. They offer free bicycle use (4 e-bikes and 4 traditional bikes) which was a lot of fun to cycle through the streets of Kyoto and have great restaurants on site as well. We hope to return to Kyoto again and will definitely be staying here again!

Hotel excellent all round but dinner in th Italian restaurant was forgettable. 30 minutes for a cocktail. Food order was muddled. Not great at all. Lots of staff but they seemed very disorganised. Food was great when it finally came.

Overall the hotel was great the only issue was that our bed sheets were stained with blood when we arrived
