A little traffic to get there but it is Boston…

I wasn’t expecting much for an airport hotel but it was so good I returned on the same trip! The room was big and clean with a comfortable bed, breakfast had plenty of options and the complimentary coffee and drinks in the lobby really made it. Great shuttle to and from the airport which really helped me decide to book this hotel in the first place.

Quick over night stop. Shower didn’t get hot (only warm).

Air conditioning stopped working overnight both nights.

Overall I had an ok stay. The only irritating thing was I was told that the airport shuttle was at the top of the hour. When I arrived at the airport and called to reserve the shuttle I was told it would be another 45 mins. I had to pay for an uber instead. The only reason I chose this hotel was for the shuttle. Will stay somewhere else next time.

I wish I got the receptionist name but anyways she was great and so nice. My flight was delayed I got in later than expected and was exhausted so having late check out as an option is amazing.

The airport shuttle was very convenient, and we were grateful to get a room to stay after a delayed flight. Rooms were a little loud from traffic on roads but otherwise comfortable beds/pillows, nice spacious rooms and bathrooms!

By far the cleanest hotel in that price range.

The only critic I have is that the lobby need better air conditioning. There is one tiny one on the ceiling in the back of the room. There is no air flow, vent or ac unit by the check in desk. The staff are soaking wet and whilst checking in/out/or buying stuff I could hardly breathe and was extremely uncomfortable. The staff works very hard and are very kind. If i worked in those conditions every day I assure you I would not be as pleasant. So please reward them and get them one of those hang yourself single ac units above their desk. It wouldnt be that much of an expense a d they deserve it.

Hotel includes a free shuttle from airport but no information of times for this - we waited at Terminal E for about 50 mins then ended up getting a taxi. When got to hotel they said it's every hour so we could have just missed one. Other than this the hotel itself was wonderful. Everything needed in rooms (even conditioner), spacious and quiet. The breakfast had more options than expected with hot omelette, breakfast muffins, bagels as well as fruit, cereals, yoghurt, pastries and hard boiled eggs. Plus juice, coffee and tea.

Nice and secure

Good location near the airport with a shuttle service (you do need to call them). Walkable to the Revere beach, and when crossing the busy highway some grocery stores there too. Boston rail transport also walkable.

There were several bugs. I was woken to several in the bed biting me at 3:00 am and immediately left the property.

Very efficient check-in and check-out. Avid is well situated near Logan and there a few good restaurants nearby.

Shuttle is on time and the drive was very friendly

Great price for a quick stay when our flight was canceled due to weather
