Drumbeg is a tiny town, but we were very pleased with our one-night stay. Owners were very courteous. We had one of the best dinners of our entire trip, alone with great food, great views, and Scottish music playing (everywhere else plays American music). Then we went to the bar for some drinks, good chats, and some pool. We even got a takeout breakfast since we left early. Would gladly stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Drumbeg Hotel. Richard and Fiona were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit and made us feel right at home. Our room was absolutely spotless and maintained to a very high standard. The food was amazing – clearly home cooked with great quality and care put into every meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re doing the NC500 – it’s a fantastic place to stop and made our trip even more memorable.

This such a lovely hotel, run by a lovely couple. It’s not the most luxurious of hotels and the rooms are basic but super clean and comfy. The location is special (as is the road to get to it) and the couple who run it do so in exemplary fashion. They are convivial hosts, super helpful and cook some of the best food we’ve eaten on this trip. It looks humble but we think it was one of the best stays on our nc500 trip. Thank you.

What a find ! The Drumbeg Hotel is a relaxing , welcoming haven ! Drumbeg itself was a peaceful village surrounded by stunning countryside and the views of the Loch and hills from the hotel were captivating . We received a warm welcome and our room was spotlessly clean, warm and super comfortable . The menu choices for dinner were many and it was difficult to choose a favourite dish . When my meal arrived the portion size was plentiful and the venison casserole absolutely delicious . Breakfast was similarly satisfying with both continental and cooked choices . We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel . It was amazing !

Friendly hosts and staff.very clean and comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Added bonus was the bar! Evening meal filling and tasty. Would recommend a stay her. Plus the views were amazing. Very relaxing stay.

This was a pleasant overnight stay in the beautiful remote Stoer peninsula. The owners were attentive. Room was a little small but absolutely fine for an overnight stay. It needs to he said that the food was excellent and the bar reasonably well stocked. Breakfast offered a good choice and the chef even provided Lorn sausage on request. Not an easy task running a hotel in this remote corner of NW Scotland. We enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was excellent, i chose the Scottish Cooked Breakfast is was well cooked with quality ingredients. The other items fruit juice jams were also high quality. The bedroom was well decorated but perhaps a little on the small side. Our ensuite bathroom was freshly renovated and spotless. Fiona and Richard the hotel owners were excellent hosts. Drumbeg is a lovely location with sea and inland loch views.

A well appointed and modern hotel with very welcoming owners. Fabulous views from the hotel dining room across a small loch and a few hundred yards away across Eddrachillis Bay. Great breakfast - clean and comfortable room and parking right outside.

Beautiful place, lovely room, home cooked delicious food prepared by Fiona. Richard is an excellent host with lots of character. They both made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

A beautiful little hotel in an idyllic location - on the Drumbeg loop. Superb food and lovely, welcoming owners. Well equipped and very comfortable room. Great selection of whiskies too. Highly recommend.
